The Essendon board in particular is lovely reading. In the same breath as saying that there's no way we take precious bombers supporting Robey AND Cumming because we have Smillie, Hotton and Lalor they also say that Josh is less dynamic...... Smillie would be the standout number one pick in this draft.

Our midfield is honestly a laughing stock at the moment it is that slow and while XT would be lovely for sentimental reasons we have Banks, Brown and Trainor that can play across the half back line. No reason Broad or Vlastuin can't keep going for a few more years given their form and between Gibcus, Gray, Miller and Balta holding down key back, I think the focus should be on where our weaknesses are which is wings, pace in the guts and building depth in small forwards to support the developing talls.

I'd seriously try to trade up for Pou. If he does actually fall outside the 30 it won't cost us much to move up slightly.

Would be an amazing draft if we ended up with Robey , Cumming and Phillipou
Hoping Cal is right with his Richmond predictions
Robey & Cumming would just about complete our midfield and foward line

Fwd/Mids : Lalor , Hotton , Smillie , Cumming , Robey , Phillipou all dual positional players with talent

Honestly Sharp will be a pretty good player, and at least talent-wise I’d have preferred Heppell over Conca way back when, but yeah, I’ll be stoked if we get Cumming and Robey, will be an amazing draft.
