Why are people mentioning Philipou?

He came out last week and said we are the club he has spoken the most to. Most of us felt he would get taken well before our third pick but this Phantom has put him squarely back in our cross hairs.

His top 10 is usually pretty spot on, it's in the teens that it goes all over the shop.

Listening to Rhy on Gettable, he certainly makes you think we will pick him.

TBBH, he is a gun defender and you can never have too many of those, as defence is often what turns oppo attacks into attacks for us.

GWS are going to trade their second rounder to the Suns, so that's another pick eaten up before ours.

There will now likely only be three live picks before ours in the second round — Norf, Dogs and Dees.

I've just watched the full episode of Gettable.

Matt Rosa did not rule out moving up and consistently said they are still looking to do it and will continue to have discussions with Richmond. "Richmond are aware of our intention to move up."

Gieschen also mentioned a couple of times about splitting picks.

I think this is going to happen and we'll have 3 in the top 10. Essendon to blink on Robey and we might be OK with that.

I posted a couple of weeks ago about Farrow, I think this is in play now.

Cumming and Robey pretty good. Or Sharp for Cumming. But higher ceiling is how we have been drafting.

Very nice. And pick 38 looks like getting someone solid. Not that weak draft.
