Reckon there is any merit in the splitting pick 3 for 5&9 once bombers get it from the blues?
It’s not terrible, means we probably miss out on Robey but Cumming/Taylor/Grlj or Farrow if that rumour is true is a decent haul.
Beggars fan playing the victim. Shock horror:
I believed that until the last sentence**** just had the feds over at my house
Apparently I got flagged on my search history “Under 18 Cumming Championships”
My working with children’s check is now under review
I believed that until the last sentence
I don't buy the line of it being a routine visit just to see Cumming's family. Seems like our guys place a high value on character and family environment, I don't see our meticulous team leaving it that late to go and do that.
Surely we were there to tell him we're gonna take him.
why has greeves slipped so much?
why has greeves slipped so much?
I wouldn't have thought it would be that hard to arrange a meeting earlier though especially for something as important as this. I don't know how it all works though and what's allowed and what isn't.Surely we visit though when Cumming is in Wentworth with his family and not boarding at PAC and finishing year 12 exams?
You had already made the case for it.I don't doubt he is a gun defender. I know we are picking best available but I still don't believe it's wise to add yet another defender to our already plentiful stocks back there.
If we had a pick at the between 9 and 15 I'd be open to pulling the trigger on him but at pick 3 and 4 I just can't get on board.
I'm sure that in the next couple of years there will be another player with similar traits that we can select or even trade for.
If we are picking him because he could potentially end up as a midfielder then just pick a midfielder...
becomes one of the first five live picks in the second round. Can anybody work out what pick our #38 becomes ?
and also what number it is in the open draft
Who are the gun mids? Seems like the club reckons there aren’t any of note.Exactly this. Xavier Taylor seems amazing, but it’s really the only position that we have solid and settled depth in. You could argue KPF too, but at least you can say our KPFs are young and not settled yet.
We desperately need more midfield talent (both speed and contests), and at 3 + 4, I want us filling one of those attributes.
Not going to melt over selecting Xavier Taylor over Cumming because Taylor’s actually good, but it might end up a missed opportunity for us IMO if we do that
still want the taylor factorAfter hearing from two people who Know Sam Cumming well. I’m all in on this kid.
‘Explosive as F**k’
‘One of the great blokes’
‘Kids a star’
‘Similar to Sam Lalor’
