After #37 you dont need to have any points to match as the discount is enough

Would be very happy with those two. But would hope we’ve earned another pick by passing on Robey.

I reckon if you were going to put a gun to Lauren Moorecrofts head (ranges coach) and ask who’s the best player at eastern she’d say Robey.

Jasper from espn said Robey was ranges best player by end of year and I think anyone who watched a lot of Ranges this year would agree.

Not trying to suggest that... It's based on the way he was talking about the 3 of them. Seemed like they had followed Cumming & X more closely perhaps over the 3 or so years? Based on that particular interview on Gettable.

Probably not the worst move by his management team to do it but yes supreme confidence isn’t his weak point.

He is a baller with plenty of party tricks, as long as he can buy into doing the team things and two way running I’d be stoked with him at 38.

That's not a bad comp. Ricciuto far more polished by foot than Cumming.

That's my ? on Cumming. As much as pace in the midfield is an issue, lack of polished and good foot-skills is also right up there!

I believe points after 37 are not necessary as long as you match with your next pick. As our next pick beyond 38 has no points attached, we would get him for nothing. However, then we’re forced to give him a 2 year contract. I believe the club does not wish to do this and would rather rookie list him with a 1 year contract.

It's been a fun few months readying everyones boards.

• Eagles' fans are all CDT - not wanting him, wanting Sharp, then wanting CDT lol
• Richmond fans - Generally we want Robey, but then we wanted Taylor and then Sharp for a few days, but now Cumming and Robey.
• Essendon fans - Want Robey really bad ever since he said he was a bombers fan, want Sharp for the same reason. Now looks like Robey might go earlier its ok they will be happy with Taylor but did I mention they still want Robey.

Who knows how much growth he has left in him ( vertically and football development)
