Robey shot into top 5 contention after a 40 & 3 wildcard game. Seems kinda crazy that at the same time, Greeves had a 35 & 4 prelim, but is seen to be sliding, potentially into the second round. If we pass up Robey, and there’s a way to get Greeves later, I wouldn’t be against it.

Similar bull style but Robey has that turn of pace, the athleticism and is cuter.

Not a big fan of the thinking. Don't first rounders get at least 2 or 3 year deals to start? So your most talented get more time as an acknowledgement that it takes time but less ranked get less time?

I suppose if the player shows some development & willingness to work hard club can extend.

I've already composed a trade scenario where we will get Sullivan from essendon in time for the 2029 season and our tilt at number 14
By then sully will have realised playing for the team you support growing up is not all that's its made out to be

FJ was told to get the best player at a specific skill set and it was Conca. He was fairly new at the job and went with the 'brains' trust. i.e. FJ's bosses told him what to get, and he got the best at that. Maybe a reason we sucked way back then.

Pick the best and don't try to fill a list need with a high pick, especially if you are reaching about 10 spots.

Having said that Conca had a pretty solid career. Was an excellent support character.
