Essendon would honestly be dumb as fk to sell the farm to trade up for a bolter who only has half a year of reliable exposed form.

Robey looks good but they honestly should just sit at 5, 6 and 9.

Except Essendon don't currently have pick 9
So they'd be trading away their entire 2025 draft, plus likely another pick next year to make the points work, just for 2 players in a compromised draft
Pretty risky move when they need more young talent in the door than we do

That being said, it would be a very Essendon thing to do
