There is every chance we do fold, if we want a player desperately like we did with caddy we most likely would trade up.

I reckon we should pick Cumming with our 1st pick and then trade our 2nd to Melbourne for 7 and the GC F1. Supposedly next year is a much better draft and Hartley always looks to load up on better drafts. We then have a choice of Farrow or Grlj (or someone else that Essendon don't take).

I suspect Bombers would go Robey & Cumming. Which would make us very hesitant.

If, as I suspect, Robey is our #3, I wouldn't be shocked if we would entertain 4 for 5 & sweetener, with the cries of "that's not obscene overs...". But we get our man (well, our two men), Bombers get theirs, and we get a nice (but not ridiculously unrealistic) bonus pick.

Looks like we will have 32 and he's available at 31 in every phantom draft released to date so he's gotta be a chance.

If it's Bombers it'd be something like 6 and 9 for 3... we might ask for 5, 9 for 3.

If it's Dees, we'd ask for 7,8 for 3 as a starting point.

I think we'd actually want a F1 from either but think they'd be reluctant to part with a F1.

Either way, I don't think we will go for something 'fair'. I think it'd be overs our way.

Needs to be 5 and 9 not 6 and 9 from bombers otherwise both robey and 1 of cumming or Taylor will be off the board.

I guess it would depend how confident we are. Eg. we take Cumming, and would be looking to take XT next. What's the chances Bombers overlook Robey and pinch XT from under our noses? Slim to none, I would've thought, but our team will have a better feel than I.
