Would work out well we draft Phillipou at pick 31. After overlooking Robey, we still get a hybrid mid forward later in the draft

It really sucks that we time our bottoming out with highly compromised drafts. Last time we were here, GWS and Gold Coast were entering the league. Just takes longer to finish the rebuild.

I would agree with all of that. Early picks are for the ceiling. If you are wanting to play it safe, trade back and let the big balls risk it for the biscuit.

People saying he seemed a w***er (Taylor). I'm old enough to remember Richmond going for Tambling once Roughead was taken of the table & we passed on Buddy as they though he was a bit of a w***er. And he was a bit. But he was also the most dynamic Full Forward the game has ever seen, outside of Gary Ablett. Who was also, a massive w***er

I wouldn’t worry, Grlj was on the radar of GWS. Hawthorn may have taken him first but he will feel like he dodged a massive bullet.

The system is ****ed. I literally came up with the skeleton of a much better one while i ate chips on the couch waiting 40 minutes for us to take, what should have been, pick 2.

Worst, most compromised system i have ever seen. Like the Electoral College of draft systems. The area you get allocated is not in your control at all. Have we ever gotten anything from our Academy? What is our zone - Spain & the first 300km of the Baltic sea?
