Ryan, OHB or Simms will ruck.
Personally i’d like us to take a project ruck today but any ruckman picked during this draft (unless we had of got CDT), wasn’t going to play any regular games next year.
Might be one or two (particularly out of Kellaway and Kickett) offered a VFL spot.I wouldn’t at all be surprised if we pass with our pick and have a few guys train with us for that last list spot. Kellaway, Kickett, El Nour and Scott are all names that come to mind. I believe Scott has already been joining in.
This is why Greeves wasn't taken at the National Draft poor endurance and poor speed.

I'd rather Harry Scott than Kellaway. When do we need to nominate Kellaway by.
Does feel like there is better talent left on board so a fascinating watch.
Even someone like BOB has that pace and leg drive power. Played injured all year so hes tough as well.
Bears are a fan owned Club, how do they get an afl funded academy? It’s strange how our approach to the draft is almost polar opposite to Essendon. We’ve drafted quick, combative types where Essendon has selected more traditional style footballers who have got a strong athletic profile. I appreciate that this is a bit of an over simplification, HT it’s a general observation.
On a separate note, I couldn’t stand the Fox Footy coverage of the draft. That Sheehan is such a Geelong person it’s ridiculous, his carry on about the Cats selection of Holmes was unbearable. Then you’ve got Ablett talking about the hysteria concerning the Northern Academies being argued by some people in club land.
So we have Brisbane winning back to back premierships being able to select the 6 best player in the draft due to their Academy, which is funded by the AFL, which by extension is funded by the clubs that reside in the heartland states through their popularity.
I switched to the coverage on AFL.com as soon as I heard them act surprised with the first couple of bids and tried to guess who each bid was as if we were stupid and hadn’t read Cal’s phantom lolIt’s strange how our approach to the draft is almost polar opposite to Essendon. Fox sports did a draft grading report card for each club how the ** do us and Geelong get the same draft grade of B- Geelong even loved by other media outlets even if they drafted a bunch of 30 year olds they would still get a high grade I wish they would ** off and fold or hit rock bottom
Play who ever is next cab off the rankwhat happens when nank goes down as he no doubt will
Roury Kirkby, but that was ages ago. Think Hawthorn picked him in rookie draft.Yeah I can’t remember a bigger fall in the history of the draft. Plenty of big names drop but they always get picked up late.
I think it's immediately after the PSD cos they can still get picked in the PSD by other clubs. When do we need to nominate Kellaway by.

I think his speed is much improved compared to his draft testing, and Cripps is a bit of an outlier. would not be comparing him to other guys with poor endurance/speed.Slow is a broad term in the AFL. Some players are slow in a sprint but get to the right spots. Not every great player has ever been super quick. Patrick Cripps is pretty slow.
