The draft cohort just ain’t that good this year.
Recruiters have been saying this for the good part of 12 months.
Especially the open draft.
CDT, Robey, Grjl, Cumming would have all been picks 6-15 last year.
The rest of the first round this year probably late first to mid second round last year.
And as for the rest of the draft, pretty much a crap shoot where you hope you can be lucky enough to pick just one player that may play 100 games.

Rhy repeatedly said that we had been up front with the Kellaways that unless he was the top option on our board when the bid came or the pick was on the clock that we wouldn't pick him. So I'm not surprised that we didn't take him and I'm glad that we've opted to hold a spot open and invite/take a look at a couple of players over the SSP or even wait until the MSD to fill the spot.
