SA looks poor on the the matches I've watched, 4 or 5 standouts but pretty pedestrian after that.

Any idea why North Adelaide's Blake Oudshoorn-Bennier hasn't played as yet? I had him pencilled in as one to really elevate this year?

What happens if Essendon's two NGA boys are(hypothetically) bid on at say 25 for Hussein El-Achkar and 36 for Adam Sweid?

Would we go into deficit or is it more for those early and first round picks that would cause clubs to go into deficit?

Could go into deficit but most likely you’d have a heap of later picks to be able to match so you don’t have to.

Essendon have Melbournes second rounder as well as their own so would easily be able to match both if they land in the mid 20 to 40 range respectively.

Melbournes second rounder on its own probably gets both boys across the line.

You’d think they would be used in a bundle situation ideally. Will be a lot of first round picks up for grabs for points. Just depends what picks and where your NGA a tipped to go

Yep. I could see a situation where Essendon bundle up a combination of its 2nd and 3rd rounder picks to Gold Coast for example to help thm get Uwland or Brisbane to get Annable.

Lorenz still waiting for something, Moraes reminds me of Adam Kingsley.

I still don't know how Soligo got so low. What are your thoughts?

I think, perhaps the top 20 was so strong that the 20s and early 30s got used for KPDs and need type players, and that 35-60 can get some steals every now and then.

2021: Best mid, best forward, Best Defender, Forward, Defenders.
From pick #17 it thins out a bit.

Good picks: Owens, Curtis, Soligo

I feel like Soligo would have been good enough to go top ten but obviously other players were rated.

A couple of years ago, early year I was hoping that Joel Freijah kid would make it to our first pick. Drafted him in the 40s. It happens.

I think its a bit of luck and the needs of teams. Given what we are seeing with Darcy and Thilthorpe. Unless mids are crazy good. He goes in top 10 barring attitude or a major knock on him.

Jackson Trengove slid and wasnt just from injury. Lacked agility and kick was average.

So Koby Evans (WCE) and Zak McCarthy (Collingwood) have entered the chat of NGA kids pushing to be drafted?


do we think an over reaction will occur and clubs will overlook NGA kids or perhaps trade out on draft night to try and grab a bargain?

Collingwood could do well if McCarthy goes inside the first round as they do not have a first rounder. Evansim no sure where he currently sits
