Rodriguez has struggled to impact outside of the Colts so far this year. Two academy games and a WAFL senior game he's been barely sighted.

Still plenty of opportunities for him to impress, hopefully he has a strong showing at the championships.
He did last year as an underager! I’m backing him in!

I just don't see him worthy of a top 5 pick. Looks like a HBF wing at AFL level. Everytime I've seen him play midfield he avoids contact and lacks a completive edge thats required.

Josh Lindsay ball use is elite. I'm assuming he will start at half back in the AFL simular to Hayden Young before moving in the midfield later on?

If he develops a contested game then he will be a generational type. But floating around the contest waiting for an easy hand out isn’t it.
Scared of contact certainly isn’t a trait of Xavier. He’s one of if not the most fearless players with his body on our list.

Don’t know what happened to the rest of them. But he won’t go far if he doesn’t develop a more contested game I don’t think unless you need a giant lanky outside midfielder

C.Curtain is going to be a pretty big unit once he gets a a few AFL pre seasons under his belt.
He could very well be a Jesse Hogan type FF for a team that could see him as a forward.

Lindsay has great vision, in the mould of a Bailey dale type which are pretty valuable in modern day footy.

When great minds collide 🙏

A bit of compromise from both Michael and myself in this given the variation in rankings, no arguments around the top 5 or so though

Thanks for the rankings, it’s great to get a bit more analysis on the northern academy players in particular which is often hard on the early part of the season.

Would be interested to know what has changed the view on Sharp over summer/early season from a top 3 pick to outside the top 10. it’s not like his game has changed much or that everyone else has significantly improved. Tough start in the league as a high half forward but his first half in particular in the academy game was excellent and he is still the best contested ball winner in the cohort.
