A big bodied medium defender with speed/endurance and good one-on-one.
Missed early part of the season, but had some eye catching performances towards the end of the year.
Think he’d slot in nicely across hb.

I think he’s a good fit. Capable of defending but can take on the game. Think it was against ER that he had 40 touches ?Played more a defensive role when he got the call up for VM

Wouldn’t mind a look at Noah Roberts-Thomson here. Is a mid for his team but looked ok in a couple of games as a crafty half forward for SA.

I’ve watched Onley in a couple of games and I just don’t see a player who gets involved. Do not want.

I've liked watching their ruck, Macauli Buck.
For an undersized ruck he sure does give his team mates first touch quite often.

Have watched plenty of Jets games & its a NO from me.
Moves well but his disposal by foot & his decision making can be quite poor at times.

Haven’t watched him live, but the disposal by foot is a surprise to me. From the games I’ve watched it looked good , he took the kick ins and had good penetration.
Did notice him missed some shorter kicks, but not easy playing in a bottom team, when you are one of the players that sets up plays from the back half.

Yeah at times he did look good & I have to agree it wasn't easy it that side.

I like him for us at this pick. I'd prefer we swing on a potential difference maker than take boring safe pick with this selection.
