Why is this guy rated so poorly he lookas like a Dangerfield clone the way he bursts away from packs. Kicking looks okay.

Either player thought I don’t think it is really the type we want at 38. Ruck/small forward/HBF or a slider like Barker/Thredgold.

He’s fine, was good for gippy and vc but he’s basically a Hobbs/matt crouch clone, small inside mid with no pace and no versatility.

Had a bit of a look & my first impression was similiar, poor mans Hobbs.
Didnt touch the ball for nearly 10 minutes then under zero pressure - 2 dinky kinks for 2 direct turnovers.

Rookie me central has him at 199cm but Zero Hanger has him at 200cm so a chance he's still growing.

Running the 2km trial in 6:07 is pretty impressive for a big man given Grlj was 5:59.

Has Addinsall so low that they'll be able to match you'd think.

Would be pretty crazy considering where he was rated earlier this year.

Isnt the rumour that he doesn't want to leave WA?

Does our pick fall somewhere where WC and Freo can't take him because they need their picks for NGA bids?

If he gets selected in the 2nd round as most are predicting then the eagles only have
#34 and #41 which both are expected to come in by 4-5 spots and they have academy kids to think about so most likely would need to use #34 which would be around #29/#30

Richmond's #38 which is likely to become #33/#34 would be the exact range where he is predicted to be selected
great on both sides and a real footballer with good footy IQ and good endurance but a bit on the slowish side from reports

Robey , Cummings , Rodriguez , Kellaway would just about set our future midfield up along with Lalor , Smillie , Hotton , McAullife. Lalor , Hotton , McAullife , Cummings add speed and the others versatility lets not forget we also have another 2 years of early draft picks and free agents to fill needs and trades for types if required.

His go home factor is an issue but if he wants a career he needs to deal with it and if he becomes a good player that wants to go back home then a great piece in a trade for harley , Duursma , Reid or any other young victorian kid that will want to come back home.

Will likely be available at pick 38 which will come in around 33 on the night. What will be interesting is of we can get Robey, Cumming, Grlj combinations and then pick Emmett, I kind of like that option.

I'd love Robey, CDT then circle back to Wright but I think that's far less likely.

Cant remember which game/s it was but he played through the middle towards the end of the year.
I do remember thinking he's a much better forward prospect at the time.

This is from Cal Twomey - Nairn's best performance at the Draft Combine came on the opening day when he ran the 2km time trial in 6:13 minutes, placing him fourth overall in a terrific showing. After being used largely as a forward in South Australia's carnival, including kicking seven goals against Western Australia, the left-footer finished his season in the midfield with Central District's under-18 team and had 30 then 31 disposals in consecutive weeks.

Big ups on Cameron Nairn.

We're in a great spot to get a first-round slider in the early 30s, with a relatively even draft and lots of teams possibly choosing to pick a bolter. Some of those guys ranked in the 20s will absolutely get down to the early 30s
