So, when reading ours, Eagles & Bombers board, al 3 talk about wanting Patterson because Gold Coast don't have enough points.

Does that mean because Uwland is the better player and will get matched straight up? or do people actually prefer Patterson?

I reckon Suns match both and will even be happy to go into deficit to do so. The 3rd player Coulson? I reckon they won't match if a bid comes and they have no points left.

I was just watching some YouTube last night, looks a good fit. Rioli/Short replacement.

Only question I have is what is his contested game like? Even attacking players need to have some contested ball ability.

Having said that Houli and Short were average defenders early in their careers ( Short only marginally improved)

Its pretty solid Charlie. His speed, kicking, competitiveness and IQ are elite. We ramped up our contact in May and thats when he appeared on my radar as we were talking to him and he wasnt in general draft conversations. Sounds insane but if we had only the 2 early picks he is a strong chance at 4.

Never thought they would, just curious as to why no one is mentioning him, but as mentioned it would be because he isnt the one talking about being happy to go elsewhere.

Still honestly believe they will match both even if they go into deficit. They don't need next year's picks, their list is full of talent and youth, they just need to make sure they get both players.

Can someone please explain why whenever Dyson Sharp's name is brought up, people automatically critique his kicking (even though if you actually look at the output, it's actually quite good).. however no one seems to say anything about Sullivan Robey's terrible foot skills..?

Sharp, CDT, Robey, Grlj, Cumming, Duursma.

Only on here is a guy who’s kicked 18.2 called a terrible kick but Lindsay’s 0.20+ in 2 seasons gets him registered as the best kick in the draft

Sharps kicking is fine but is loopy and lacks penetration but he’s certainly improved it a lot since last year.

Im a big fan of Sharp because of his continual improvement, i think that's the most important traits to have and he clearly has a great work ethic. I could see him in 5yrs being a very nice kick without the loop.

Duursma, Sharp, CDT & Robey, that's a tough choice. Maybe you guys just need to swap picks with us and let us take away that heavy burden?

In fairness, he suits you guys perfectly it feels from the outside. Just a matter of if he's in the best 2 players for you guys to pick.

I’m a huge fan and have been super impressed by his continued improvement but it’s clear there is a top echelon in this draft now that has Uwland, Patterson, Duursma, CDT, Annable and Robey. The 2nd group is probably led by Sharp and XT.
