Those promoting Grij are taking a bit of a punt on upside IMO.

I have guys like Duursma, Cummings, Sharp well ahead, Then the argument for Robey is a lot stronger than Grij for mine and CDT also has a stronger argument even though ruck types are a little more speculative A guy like X Taylor I would punt on before Grij and I would take others to, but that is just me, not trying to sound to negative. There was a Murphy Reid last year, Jagga Smith, why would there not be another type next year??? I mean there is no special need at all to pick Grij so high for mine.

Thinking about how much our recruiting team emphasise that we follow these players from a very young age it's easy to see why we would like Sharp more than some might expect

If they can't split two kids, then maybe the combine changes the pecking order in those two for that club

no club is pushing a kid huge numbers up their draft order on the back of combine results (not inside the top 20-30 anyway)

All clubs have as many picks as they want. Their base pick in each round from where they finished the season. So we nominally had 2, 20, 38, 56, 74, 92 etc. That changes with FA, AF compo etc. I remember someone being traded for pick 100+
