Yeah clubs really only speak to players once or twice anyway
Maybe we'll take Robey for a round of Golf like we did Dusty?

I know it’s extremely unlikely but hoping he slips to our 30s pick.

Would honestly be a minor miracle though.
I've put all the RMC profile ranges in order and he's currently 29th (I've added Duursma myself) and Greeves still to come so assume 30th. We probably end up pick 34. He's rated 25-35 and I have him listed above all the 25-40 guys so its not completely inconceivable.

I love all the "player X is a spud, Player Y is talentless" comments on this website. Truth is every player mentioned or that has made it to the highest level has more Talent in their left knacker than anyone posting on here has in their entire body.

Valuable use of work hours

This forward was projecting nicely with a late surge off the back of more midfield minutes, projected to go top 5. Robey is bigger, stronger and has better midfield craft.

Cleary one of the most talented players in the draft crop, ________ will likely be snapped up within the top five selections on night one. A natural forward whose midfield craft is promising, the 18-year-old is already a match-winner with strong scope for improvement – especially if he can strengthen his running capacity. There isn’t much _______ can’t do on the field in the way of skills, and he’ll likely start his career at the next level as a half-forward who can venture up the field, but provide a marking presence inside 50 and frequently hit the scoreboard.
OK, I'll bite... who are we talking about here? The middle Duursma maybe?

Would t surprise me if Robey isn’t at the top of our list. If we had a pick later in the top 10, I think it’d be more likely we’d take him. Feel like we’ll have others ahead of him
I get that sense too. But things can change, I suppose. People need to prepare themselves... all it takes is for the club to rate two alternative open draft players ahead of him (after taking out the two WC take, obviously).

When live trading occurs on draft night, do you suspect Blair and the team run through scenarios in preparation for offers. For example, Melbourne offers pick 7 and a future 2 rounder for our pick 4; I anticipate Blair responds with a No, because we value that pick more highly. Or do you think it’s done largely on the fly.

Yeah doubt he'd last to our 30s pick.
If we do split 4 though I'd take him with whatever pick we get.

I think Blair and Rhy have mentioned they run through a shit load of different scenarios in their own mock draft discussions in the lead up.

That’s something I want to ask Rhy when I’m in cause that is fascinating to understand how we step though it.

Blair is very calculated with everything he does.

Interesting, very very interesting!

Players are not being compared to couch potatoes like us, they are being called spuds relative to AFL standard. Your post is pointless.
