Fine with him at 21.What are people’s thoughts on NHH if one of our picks gets traded back a little bit?

"Major focus point": South Australian AFL Draft prospect's 2025 growth
The midfielder has become much more well rounded and could be selected in the top 10 of the AFL Draft.www.zerohanger.com
Honestly don't believe we can go wrong with any 2 of CDT Robey Cumming Grlj Sharp X.Taylor, which puts us in a very strong position to shop our picks for possible deals or hold them and just take the 2 we feel are best available

Essendon rival? Must be Norf. Ben Cunnington...Am I blind or does it not mention this player he idolised?
had to laugh spent a third of the article talking about it then decided the identity wasnt importantAm I blind or does it not mention this player he idolised?
This guy has no idea and has ripped a few cones before going on air but his draft simulator is elite. This is a scenario he run where WC picked Duursma first and then bidded on players back to back. Includes a bombers trade up to get CDT with WC also!
Couldn't agree more.
Looks a 13-25 draft pick range. You don't waste a top 5 pick on this. For a prized top 5 pick, you would expect elite level X factor and A+ range.
Don't get me wrong. He could still turn out to be a great player, but surely not a top 5 pick potential. Robey/CDT/Sharp and even Cumming excite me more. There are plenty of half back flankers. If a half back flanker/back pocket player is going in the top 5, you would expect to be extremely impressed from a highlights package.
Doesn't mention it but the player is Cripps.Am I blind or does it not mention this player he idolised?

I saw a bloke that competes hard, breaks lines and can get a spoil in but isnt a good user and isnt a strong mark. for a top 5 third tall defender id want him to be elite. like others have said he looks more like a late first/early second rounder in most drafts.Taylor is much much more than just a half back flanker/ back pocket and would absolutely justify a top 5 pick.
He’s more a Josh Weddle type than anything else, and a 2022 re-draft would see Weddle a top 5 pick; and 2022 is also a vastly stronger draft that 2025.
We need to get out of the mindset that we draft a position. We draft a player. One who is good in the air, aggressive on the ground, with good agility and speed. He has attributes that would allow him to play multiple positions and multiple roles at AFL level.
He’s shown a glimpse of midfield potential, although the strength of Eastern was their midfield so didn’t get much an expansive run.
Not ahead of Duursma, CDT or Robey in the open pool. But he’d be close to the next highest talent ahead of Cumming and Sharp in my view.
Thought the same thing, more quality "journalism" at work...Am I blind or does it not mention this player he idolised?

This isn't necessarily directed at you, but a lot of posters are banging on about needing A grade midfielders. It's weird, everyone's going on about Floss replacement when we need Dusty (or Cotchin) replacement.
With pick 3 and 4, we should be picking an A-grade onball talent. Back flankers, even if they are good in the air, can be targeted with late first round or early second round picks, not early 1st-rounders.
I prefer Cumming over Grill (if it comes to that), but definitely prefer Grill over this kid.
By all means put him in the equation if we split pick 4, but not at pick 4.
Damn and here I was thinking it was Chris Judd.Doesn't mention it but the player is Cripps.
Or we just take him at #4 ourselvesThat could be good for us. Give them 4 for 7 and a future pick and still get Grlj.
Nah it will be Grlj as the new Brandon Ellis
