Please no. I see Oscar no different to seamus as just as a speedy defender. Please no. Though, Jonty is full of shit. He also said that we may need a tall like thredgold or Schubert as we don't have any back up in KP options!!! Lmao.jonty from craft of the draft suggested we are rumoured to be taking Oskar Taylor at our pick 10(14).

Well you are clearly a sweet tooth as you want slow as treacle GreevesPlease no. I see Oscar no different to seamus as just as a speedy defender. Please no. Though, Jonty is full of shit. , so I guess we will have to agree to disagree. I think if you see him same as seamus you haven’t seen enough of him. He’s faster, more agile and a far better kick. Seamus was fast in a straight line but not evasive Oskar is light years in front and not a valid comparison for many reasons. If you're talking about Will Day, he was a completely different beast. Kicked both feet, ran into contests like a ****ing bull and had Alpha game changing attributes and attitude from day dot. At 6'4 , although skinny, he had size to take on any player in the air and just as good at ground ball gets. Oscar isn't much chop next to him. And isn't going to transition into midfield like Day either as he doesn't even show any of those attributes. I'm a firm no on him. Probably the only player I DON'T want to waste a top ten from the 10-20 crop. He'll, I'd rather take lattrelle at that pick. Actually,Lindsay is so much better it's not funny as a half back option.I remember the last time we reached for a bolter half-back who lacked size.
Yep, much rather Greeves, NHH Marsh Philippou Grjl Doveston Farrow Nairn Lindsay. Just don't see anything of quality in Oscar.Well you are clearly a sweet tooth as you want slow as treacle Greeves, so I guess we will have to agree to disagree. So you mean other than the fastest 3 20m sprints in this draft, second only to Dovaston in agility testing and a Merrett like precise 35-40m kick you mean. Other than that I agree nothing of quality.Yep, much rather Greeves, NHH Marsh Philippou Grjl Doveston Farrow Nairn Lindsay. Just don't see anything of quality in Oscar.

Whatever man. Everyone can have an opinion, strong or not, on draftees . Reality is , you may not know, but I've put a bit of time into this draft to see what would suit us going frwd, doesn't mean I have to like every player , does it? Oscar isn't even in my top 25! But hawks would know better. We'll, I ****ing certainly hope so. Pick 10 is important. So you mean other than the fastest 3 20m sprints in this draft, second only to Dovaston in agility testing and a Merrett like precise 35-40m kick you mean. I could engage in the topic but you put Lindsay in.
Of course different opinions is half the fun. And I like banter too. I also spend a a lot of time draft watching and I’m more aligned to the athletic traits given the game trends hence my desire to go for players like Taylor, Marsh, NHH at our picks rather than Farrow Greeves etc. it’s also a very even draft so it’s easy to see how once the top 10 is done including the 4 bids how the next 20 could end up in very different orders.Whatever man. That's exactly what I would want actually. Bang on! Grjl /Doveston with first pick and Marsh or NHH with the other. But, I think we need to move up into the teens to get one of them.Of course different opinions is half the fun. And I like banter too. Tell you what could we agree on
10-Grlj
22-NHH or Marsh

Just out of respect/curiosity, I'm going to check Oscar out again but, I was definitely not impressed with anything he did in those couple of games I watched him in. I hope Jonty is just making shit up like he did with us taking a kpd with our second pick because we have no back up.. yea, Mraz doesn't exist.
Agree.Sharp looks decidedly meh to me. Bigger than his competition, uses that advantage well, no burst, doesn't really read it off the tap or in space to exit congestion, excellent tackler, won't break lines, see's the game well and keeps it moving to advantage......
Really good VFL player/decent AFL player but doesn't look like high level AFL to me, certainly not what I'd spend a top 10 pick on.
Bruiser, reliable, inside, plays 10 years, sure.
Not what Sammy said he's looking for in his want list when adding to our on-baller division.
Farrow is garbage?Talk is Melb are taking Nairn
The media love linking garbage players like Farrow to us, i hope Mark McKenzie doesn't do it, we dodged a bullet with Liam Stocker, Braeden Campbell ect, please dodge the Farrow bullet

No current season stats available
Oskar Taylor reminds me of Jordan McMahon in style.
There's definitely a lot to like, especially his willingness to run hard, create the receiving option and break lines.
His kicking looks pretty good to me. Not sure about where he lands though.
You should watch his champs games where they reckon he was good and tell me your opinion.Farrow is garbage?![]()

Stocker and Campbell are both still on AFL lists and getting regular games, which is more than can be said for most players in their respective draft classes (let alone any of the guys we took)Talk is Melb are taking Nairn

Garbage players?
That’s pretty strong and pretty disrespectful
Zero Hanger have employed some little narcissistic dweeb
Their draft coverage has been horrible
“Everyone expects Hawthorn to pick Oskar Taylor”
It’s just you now
