I’m prett certain any deficet goes on the clubs first pick the following season.
Probably won't affect us then given the points difference between 1 & 2 and then 2 & 3. Will be easy to trade a 3rd rounder forward though to be safe.

8 handballs
3 marks
3 Turnovers
3 free kicks against

0 tackles
82 mtrs gained

Norths midfielders outside LDU Wardlaw & Simpkin are glorified flankers

WAFL Colts standard compared to CTL feels like I'm watching a different sport 🤣🤣

Edit: then Fred gets it and hits 2 blokes up in a row leading to a shot at goal

It’s the frustrating thing about WA and SA u/18s. Need champs to properly assess those kids

Welcome to tigerland Sam Grlj!!!

Hopefully someone can get tape of the trial matches
Keeps ticking the boxes.

“Grlj was best afield in an outing where he proved just about untouchable. The agile and smooth moving midfielder took off with every possession, using his speed to leave opponents in his dust before hitting targets forward of the ball. He did so off a wing in the first half before being shifted on-ball, where he continued to work hard and find space around the ground. Grlj was near-impossible to tackle but wrapped up Country players willingly, proving a real competitor which is rare for players of his mould. He looked dangerous all day”

he’s everything we need, and that side step is ridiculous.

Something about that #5 oakleigh jumper.

He looks super at CTL level. Hopefully he gets a chance during champs to showcase his talents.

The positive is that he was a standout in the trial match, playing 2nd half in the midfield. So a bit of a step up from CTL club games, and is relatively new to the midfield role.
Hope he gets his opportunity to play midfield in the Nationals.

Bit of Lids about him.

Gotta love how kids come from the clouds at this age group. I mean you can go from being on nobody’s radar 6 months ago to flavour of the month
He was apart of the u17s futures squad. Wouldn't say it's from the clouds but he's certainly improved a lot. It's also hard to guys bottom age playing at these top CTL teams as they are trying to showcase their draftable talent. So often guys get pushed to flanks in order for them to get minutes in the side.

I hadn’t heard of him, but didn’t follow u17s last year.
You want to get noticed and project yourself as a top 10 talent, playing midfield against the best at your age group, certainly assists your case.
