I think he may have played a SANFL game as a high hf this year.

I don’t mind the Matt Rowell comparisons, but not sure he’s that good.
Rowell tested very well (yo-yo and 2km) , and obviously an elite midfield/ clearance player, you see why he went so high. Be interesting to see how Sharp performs at the combine.
And his head to head battles with Greeves, Annable, Onley etc. at the Nationals.
If he ticks all those boxes, he’ll be hard to pass on.

Oh the Rowell comparison is more in style and aggression. If he was Rowell good, we wouldn't even be questioning him as no 1

Another strong performance from Grlj who's rapidly risen to contend for a spot in the top 10 of draft lists. Its easy to see Grlj's dancing feet and bursts of pace and think what he might be capable of in a couple of years with more maturity in his game and body.

Thank you Norf for your pick, as this was exactly the midfielder we needed.

Sam Swadling has had a strong start to his top age season and continued it with an excellent performance here. The one thing we wanted to see from Swadling this year was an improvement in his composure and decision making with the ball, and while he still had some rush of blood moments here the improvement over all is significant. The rest of the package has always been exciting with his size, agility and nose for the footy every bit as good as it's always been.

Why are WA grounds so massive? Also why does it feel like the ground is already massive but they decided to put camera another 40m away from the edge of oval.

Who can say? Why are the camera operators incapable of finding the zoom button? WA is a land full of mystery.

They're also seemingly stuck broadcasting at 480p when the rest of the world has moved to 4k.

Could have warned me about the 10min pies wankfest at the start.
I screenshot it in this thread campaigner.

And timestamped the Grlj footage. Feel like I couldn't have held your hand through the process more if I tried.

His pace is what you would expect for a genuine gun inside mid IMO.

I also dont think he's as one positional as others suggest, could easily rest inside 50, give you a contest and tackle like a beast.
Regarding pace : I highly doubt he would be any slower than Harvey Langford and people are drooling over him atm
His defensive game is superb and is a contested beast so he would be effective resting foward with his pressure
Its his disposal that i hate

Good points, his disposal by foot isnt terrible, its ok, but would love to see it improve a bit. No worse than plenty of other gun inside mids.

I know this is a stretch but I watched a video on Tasmania so far they aren’t going to get pick 1 or 2 from the first three drafts?

Yeah think they start pick 3. We should have enough talent by then. Should be in trade mode by then

I think also pick 4,6,8 will be available too. Judging by then I’d assume we’d be on the pick 8-15 range for those years

This performance from Duursma got some criticism on the day but I think on rewatch he was pretty solid, especially when you consider that he sacrificed his game and played out of position to help a terribly unbalanced Academy squad. He did his best to match up on the mature Richmond tall forwards, attacked contests in the air, and showed a few moments of class with the ball.

Soft as butter. Do not want.

Did you see that he had another proposal couldn't tell if it was his or club feedback that finalists start with pick 21. Bottom 10 get 2 first rounders each. Premier gets pick 28.
honestly im all for it turns a rebuild into 2x faster and allows for savvy trading to stay top for longer
