Tom Cappellari for Myrtleford is really standing out in the O&M…Nice left shoe, elite in everything…Norf are looking at him, VFL and/or mid-season…
I hope our guys are watching…

David Rodan's son tied to Port as F/S & Essendon as an NGA. didn't play enough games for Richmond.
NGA system is a bit rubbish isn't it?

If players are FS eligble, that should disqualify them from a NGA.
The point of NGA was to get kids from non-traditional football backgrounds into AFL.
Its turned into a joke.
The NGA's are just to try and keep the southern teams quite about the northern academy's.

What players has Richmond NGA zone ever produced?

The AFL are all over the shop when it comes to qualifying under NGA.
Still think they are thinking about Ports request for Cochrane
Also the re-zoning is due to be announced soon.
The last thing I read from our club re re-zoning was “ no comment “ 😂 We’ll get shafted.
Shafted? Our zone can't get worse lol

Going to be adding more MSD prospect into the rotation now that we're closer to that happening. Let me know if you have any hot tips on who you guys might be looking at.

---

This was Floyd's first game of the 2025 Talent League season, and it got people's tongues wagging about his potential as a mid season draftee. He was the main target for his team in the front half of the ground, and while he didn't clunk them all he competed strongly in the air and on the ground. In addition to his three goals, a number of other scores for the Rebels were a direct result of his actions.

Yeah it's ****ing stupid. The idea of NGAs was to help get kids in that wouldn't normally played the game but now were getting kids of 200 games players coming through academies. So dumb.

looking unlikely we'll have a list spot for the msd unless someone does a knee or something else very unexpected happens

Players regularly put up impressive numbers against the NT Academy side, but in this case it's a continuation of what we've been seeing from Tom Burton all season who's averaging 33 disposals per game in the Talent League and also solid for the AFL Academy.

Burton lacks the size that clubs tend to prefer with their midfield recruits, but he has a dash of pace, and the agility to navigate traffic and get inside to out for damaging disposals. This game in the Darwin heat showed Tom's elite endurance and gut running at their best, able to get from contest to contest all over the ground and a few times showing repeated efforts to pop up multiple times in possession chains down the ground.

tigs2010 jack dalton made the team
Reckon he would have preferred to make my top 10.
