Sheesh I hope, I had heard differently from his family but glad to hear otherwise especially that last part that we have wrapped our arms around him. Hopefully this pays dividends.

He was very good yesterday, he's coming along nicely.

His first delivery out of the centre was top notch, always found the free man on the outside from what I noticed at centre bounce.

Another solid game from Willem who helped Gippsland to another big win, the Power looking like they might be the team to beat from the Vic based clubs this year. Willem again struggled a little with his disposal but he wasn't alone with a strong wind playing havoc on the day.

Would rather he be a gun and us have to pay up to get him then to snag him cheaply and a be bidding for him purely off F/S like we did with Naish.

Reality is he isn't going to get bid on before we use our first two selections which means we won't have to worry about them being pushed back.

Of course, but we traded everything else now. You don't want it pushing back a 2026 1st rounder if he gets bid on last pick of the 1st in a shit draft. That wouldn't be ideal.
