Just thought of best case scenario NTH finish 18 and we finish 17 th pick 1 & 2 No spoon.... Not out of the question 🤔

If Nth finish last and show no improvement you’d think that LDU goes, which would potentially mean:
Pick 1: Tiges (NTH)
Pick 2: NTH (LDU Compo)
Pick 3: Tiges

We will have 2 picks in the top 5 this coming draft. Patience grasshopper.
Only added 2 genuine mids last year (Smillie and Lalor). Hotton and Alger more fwd types, at least initially.

Sharp and 1 of Rodriguez/Onley/Hibbins- Hargreaves would be just 4 genuine new mids on a list of 36 or so. It's not enough regeneration and midfield depth. Need to go hard at free agency as well as potentially trading next years first if it gets us a top 5 pick now.

I think we'll look at free agency / mature players in 2026 when we have more idea of what's needed i.e. how our young guns are progressing. Unless of course an out and out gun wants to join a wooden spoon side.

This is a great point, I’ve seen a lot of 2025 draft prospects and rankings, does anyone have a list of prospects for the mid season draft? Who was unlucky not to get drafted in 2024?
All depends on how they play this year but Damon Hallow, Phoenix Hargrave, Nathanial Sulzberger and Sam Toner are a few non-KPPs I thought could've been drafted. Toner's also joined our VFL team which we've usually had luck with.

im hoping theres another kako in the mix. **** we could use some small forward class.

Think you can get that last though. Not like we won't have high picks for a while. Agree though it would be good to get a game changing small.

24 - Talks went first with some mids/mid forwards.

25 - Hard on mids

26 - list holes

We would be mad not to pick this guy at #1

Id suggest we would be mad to pick him at #1 before a ball has been kicked in anger this season. Plus also before we see Lalor and Smillie play and see how best to build around them.

Sharpe starts at 1 but there’s plenty of others around the mark.

Cant believe after so many years of free agency and compo picks being handed out that you guys still dont understabd how it all works.

If LDU leaves as a free agent Norf get a compo pick 'AFTER their 1st round selection' which they traded away to Richmond
#1 - Richmond
# 2 - Richmond (traded from NorF)
#3 - NorF (Compo pick for LDU)

Newer footage (ground camera angles) of Dyson Sharp from 2024.

watched a lot of the other prospects vids and hes still my pick for 1 at this stage.
what he lacks in pace he makes up for with elite movement through traffic, usually just cutting right through the oppo.
if he could improve his break away speed even a bit hed be insane.

Ideal but North aren't finishing last unless things go badly on the injury front

Kicking and hand balling look sloppy but still seem to hit the target.

Can’t see if he’s an inside mid that breaks away to attack or more of an accumulator that gets a lot of ball through getting to contests and link plays.

Will be interesting to see him develop this year.

NHH is a very versatile player a bit like day from hawks and Anderson the captain of the suns. A tantilising prospect indeed.
Fred R has the Murphy Reid awareness and skills
Concern is our record with hyphens

Jarrod Oakley-Nicholls
Callum Coleman-Jones
Riley Collier-Dawkins
Paddy Thomson-Dow

That’s too much common sense for here

Looks like a long-haired Chris McDermott.
