Pick 1: Tiges (NTH)
Pick 2: NTH (LDU Compo)
Pick 3: Tiges

Only added 2 genuine mids last year (Smillie and Lalor). Hotton and Alger more fwd types, at least initially.

Sharp and 1 of Rodriguez/Onley/Hibbins- Hargreaves would be just 4 genuine new mids on a list of 36 or so. It's not enough regeneration and midfield depth. Need to go hard at free agency as well as potentially trading next years first if it gets us a top 5 pick now.

When we are next contending the only elite mids will be probably Lalor and Smilie. Hopper and Taranto will be on the decline so we need more in the young core. Also we went hard on bigs last year. No premiership team these days has a poor engine room. Ross is not in a premiership best 22.

Our list is currently unbalanced and biased towards key position players. Our midfield from half back to half forward is our weakest area. TT and Hopper are slow. Ross is not quick and just best 22 at best. McAuliffe unknown.

We need midfield depth. I hope it comes in time.

We must take 2 mids with the 2 selections we have and if the kellaway kid is a good option then 3
We will also needs a couple of small fowards going foward.
Our KP stocks are well and hopefully we get good development from our Rucks in the 2 basketballers or Ryan going foward
