Looks like we will have 2 picks between 1-5 (most likely) .
I'm not particularly concerned if wet toast get picks 1 and 2 ..as if Allen leaves I feel they will look to home grown talent or South Australian talent before Vic players..if they took 2 of curtin .sharp and Rodriguez I really wouldn't care
To those in the know how close is CDT tracking to what TDK did in the juniors ..because if it's close I'd take CDT with our first pick in a heartbeat .As for the next pick Duursma or Greeves will be available for our next pick .
If the Kellaway lad keeps tracking as he is he'd easily replace Dow or Ross so that would be a win
As for 2026 we get Brian Leys boy whose tracking well and we'll probably finish bottom 4 next year so we will have access to a top end mid of the type we don't have ...
Not to mention a war chest of cash to entice a very high end free agent or two ..
All in all we have some pain coming but not without reward ..think it's going to pan out well for us in the long run

I’m not sure, but if he’s an overager I’m pretty sure it makes him eligible for the msd.

The big question though is if we have a msd pick (assuming it’s 1 or 2) do we try to get a young talent like white or a more ready made type like McCarthy?
