Alright, it seems that I respond to two things: money and guilt. Enjoy your Grlj video.

----

Another of the early movers in 2025, Grlj has been making the most of his opportunity playing onball for Oakleigh to maximise some of the traits we saw last season. His pace is electric, and he uses it to quickly close down opponents or break lines with the ball, one mazy run in particular which saw him sidestepping opponents and leaving them in his wake was very reminiscent of last season's Chargers number 5. In this game he barely put a foot wrong with ball in hand, his skills neat and precise. Hopefully he can up his disposal count as the season progresses by developing his stoppage work and finding more uncontested footy on the spread.

Where is this guy supposed to go? He looks good, those sidesteps sheesh

He's linked to you guys?

Bottom agers are a pretty low priority at the moment given how busy it is.
Yeah he's a bottom age academy. I'm only joking, just get ready to be hounded in 12 months time ;)

Too early to say. There are a bunch of early movers with Grlj and the two Wright lads prominent among them. We need to give it a while longer to figure out what's sustainable and what is just temporary form.

Those sidesteps very much like the former number #5 I loved that dash in the centre bounce and burst straight out too.

He doesn’t look as good in the air but more pace and those sidesteps 😍

And how good was he just shoving over Sandy #5 after the kick. Has just a little bit of campaigner about him.

Right now I’m shipping Grlj and H Wright to tigs.

he’s averaging 16 as a winger in his rookie season, for a absolute pus club that gets destroyed you campaigner.
We ain’t getting Fos you clown.

You were doing Cody Walker vids though for blues fans 😛
I also did a couple of Dougie Cochrane videos. These two are a pretty strong chance to go 1 & 2 in next seasons draft.

I pretty much base my video choices on three things:
1. What do the largest number of people most want to see?
2. Which likely draftees haven't I covered yet? (more relevant later in the season)
3. Who's had a ridiculously good game this week?

MSD question. If we put someone on the LTI list for say 10-12 weeks, would it be possible to reinstate that player with six rounds to go by placing another player on the LTI list to create a list spot, this would create a list spot in the MSD and still allow the player who makes way for the MSD draftee to play again that year?

You’re going to have to make room on the bandwagon.
There’s going to be plenty of Grlj love on this thread as the season progresses.

It’s not offically a bandwagon until Morro jumps on and claims he was first.

My understanding is no.

Whomever goes on the LTI to open an MSD pick is automatically unable to play again that year.

Agree, we all watched that performance against our VFL B side where Smillie had 14 to halftime.

This draft stinks, people getting excited with plodders. Draft has an Essendon smell to it.
Problem is IF it is a weak draft , who’s going to want to give up next year’s picks?
Particularly clubs that are likely bottom 4-5. They’ll be eyeing of Dougie

If an AFL-listed player suffers a year-ending injury or retires, the player can be placed on the inactive list and be replaced by a Mid-Season Rookie Draft player.

It was always known as a weak draft. Especially top heavy. But you as a team find diamonds among the rough or trade for AFL listed players instead

It’s got that feel to it, but it’s early days.
I still think we’ll be able to add a couple of really good players in this draft. Ok we are probably not getting another Lalor but we can add some outside speed and quality footskills to complement last year’s picks.

Many years are seen as poor going in and OK coming out.

Lot of talented players this year, but inconsistent or patchy performances. Hopefully they will start to come on and we'll have a great couple of picks.
