Melbourne were flawless all over the park excluding their forward line which was trash. By not having enough talls they were vulnerable forward and when Gawn or May went down. That is not dynasty material. When we had injuries to Rance or Lynch etc we had enough depth to step up and get us through the leaner times to still bank wins (Chol, Soldo, Grimes, Astbury, Riewoldt).

Simpson was saying the hardest type of mid to get is that transition inside/out mid. That's probably Fred tbh.

Hope by the end of the season, he’s established himself as a gun inside/outside midfielder and is genuine P1 contender ( assuming we have P1).

I notice Twomey doesn’t have Rodriguez in top 10 or honorable mentions
His top 10 dominated by Suns/ Swans and Brisbane academy players.
He seems to rate Cooper Duff -Tyler(Ruck - Vic Metro) as possible number 1.
We should end up with two picks inside top 5/6.
Could consider him and a speedy outside mid Hibbins-Hargreaves.
