Seems fairly likely at this point. We seem to have enough senior mids as it is playing Kamdyn thereFor mine Prestia should retire to open up a spot for the MSD. Especially as his achilles doesn't seem to be healing

Will get beaten in taps and commit crimes against them around the field.Just read that CDT finished top 5 in the 20m sprint and the 2km trial for the Calder Cannons which is so impressive for a 200.3 cm player. Speed/endurance combo has recruiters doing backflips.
Played hbf in junior football and as a point guard in basketball . So sounds as though he’s had a later growth spurt, who knows there could be more to come.
It’ll be interesting to see how he competes against OHB and Colina on Sunday, very much undersized in ruck contests.

Like everyone I’ve been caught up in all the CDT hype, and don’t get me wrong I’m a massive fan, but at the end of the day you want to see a player that is competent in the air and in ruck contests. Will get beaten in taps and commit crimes against them around the field.
He sort of downplayed his baseball ability on gettable with Cal.He had 5 assists (and 9 turnovers) in 107 min of nbl1 last year.
I think he chose football as he’s not making it at as a basketballer.
As long as he's not a soft **** and can neutralise the contests and take contested grabs he will be fine if he's not getting 40 hitouts. You want him to be more Rowan Marshall and less Tim English.Like everyone I’ve been caught up in all the CDT hype, and don’t get me wrong I’m a massive fan, but at the end of the day you want to see a player that is competent in the air and in ruck contests.
It’s all well and good to be an amazing ground level player, but he’ll be playing in the AFL as a ruckman and perhaps kpf.
If he ends up at Richmond and serves his apprenticeship under Nank, no way he’s morphing into a Tim EnglishAs long as he's not a soft **** and can neutralise the contests and take contested grabs he will be fine if he's not getting 40 hitouts. Both lose hitouts each week but Roma is competitive and a strong mark around the ground. English would look malnourished in AFLW.
If we don't draft him we want him to be Tim English lol

Have to agree with the marking, he takes them but not cleanly. If he can start clunking them like a tdk or Jackson he’d go another level. Is he Michael Jordan now?
I read an article about him in the local rag where he basically says he decided footy as he was more likely to succeed at that. Which makes sense to me, I’d rather be an nba player for the money than footy but it’s a nice back up, but raises some queries about his basketball skill set given he’s 200cm athletic freak.
I’m also far from convinced about his footy iq and his hands. He double clutches so many marks and he ends up completing marks at hip height instead of at that the highest point.
He needs to prove he can be a KPF this year imo or be a pure mid.

That’s true, probably only difference with him is that he hasn’t had the same amount of junior development in an elite system. All those skills you nail as a junior through repetitive drills are missing.I’m never convinced kicking and marking ever substantially improves tbh. You can’t teach Lynch type hands.

So becomes another Samson Ryan then !!!If he ends up at Richmond and serves his apprenticeship under Nank, no way he’s morphing into a Tim English![]()

Has anybody seen Samson and Todd in the same room ?There’s only one Samson Ryan
LDU signed with Norf so no way they can get Band 1 compensation anymore. Time to deathride them even harder.
Norf last
Tiges 17th
Who cares after that
the thing is if cdt was 10cm shorter we'd be looking at him as a midfielder and his output stacks up as one of the top mids in this draft. now add 10cm and give him the ability to also ruck. somehow he's now shit and not worth considering.Correct.
A ruckmans best impact on winning is their physical dominance in ruck contents, being able to push forward and impact and kick goals or push back and intercept to chop out opposition attacks.
All three of those things are so much more important than than your ruckman getting some touches around the ground. If we pick a ruck based on possession counts it will be a bust of a pick.
