Curious, who are other people requesting the most?
Most want to see their NGAs and there are a lot of them this year. The pies want to see McGuane, McCarthy and Saxena, the bombers want to see Sweid and El Achkar, the blues want to see Walker and Dean, Eagles fans want Walley in particular, Freo fans want Whan... I have one very insistent crows fan who keep demanding Mitch Stevens in all caps and even donated to get it so I probably should give that some priority even though he's been super annoying about it. Outside of that I've had a couple of requests this week for MSD prospect Tom Evans who had a 40+ disposal game for the pioneers. There are others as well.

Oh yeah, and some Richmond campaigner keeps asking for Sam Grilj.

Edit: how could I forget about the request for "Bobby" that had tigs2010 and I quite confused

2 Richmond campaigners for Grlj. I asked last week 😉

You may need to hide in the bushes out the front of BOB'S house to get the source footage 😳

Walkers 2 years away and coming to Richmond. Plus **** Carlton. ;)

where do you see your ngas fitting in the draft? Both looked real good in the round 1 game I watched and seem to have kept going from there based on stats.

put me down as one to see Evans plus while at the pioneers more Hunter Wright please. Promise to like and even comment on YouTube to help you with algorithm 🥰

I think our NGAs are the toughest to place as they're both playing super well but both have significant deficiencies to my eyes. If Sweid is a midfielder then he's going to have to be the smallest mid in the AFL at 175cm, and if he's going to play more of a flank or wing then I need to see it to be confident in it. El Achkar I like, he's dangerous whenever he's near the ball, has power and a low center of gravity which makes him difficult to stop... but he lacks the endrance and perhaps a bit of top end speed which presents challenges for him in applying pressure at a high level which is pretty critical for modern small forwards.

Cal Twomey's been making noises about Huss being a first round contender, and he may be right but I still think both those guys are still more mid range picks all things considered.

Maybe we can just trade our first pick this year to north and get FOS lol. He’d fit well in the middle with smilie and Lalor. Can play as that elastic, outside mid with dash from centre bounce.
  • Give norf their pick back for FOS
  • Give weagles #1 for Reid
  • Just take Kellaway kid

Just tell them all to pay $50 each
you will never hear from them again

Reid ain’t coming to Richmond. I actually know it’s wishful thinking. But we don’t need him. We have Lalor and Smilie just a speedy midfielder like fos and it’s enough. Use our pick one for either a utility like Duursma or CDT and we are set. Use our cap space for someone like Sam Taylor

Disagree that one speedy mid is enough. We are completely void of midfield talent.

It’s literally McAuliffe, Lalor and Smillie, not one is a genuine AFL level mid yet, and even if they do reach that level we need 5-6 guys to go through there.

We need 2 more minimum this year.

Hahah being I do like the bring FOS to Richmond part. That I think should be a trade Richmond should attempt. Unsure who would be worth our first 1st pick though. Duursma? CDT?

Duursma plus FOS 🤷🏽‍♂️

Would love FOS.

Still on fence about Duursma, he is a bit soft which seems a family trait. Very athletic though

Right now Greeves is probably the kid I’d like. He cracked in hard on Sunday and one of a few academy boys to physically matchit with our vfl players. But for someone who has such a nice looking kicking technique he misses a lot of targets.

Still intrigued by Fred, he actually used it well on weekend and also had no issue with physicality but was shunted to wings and out of play for others.

Probably the worst thing about the academy, the best players are usually mids but to fit them all in for this type of game guys have to sacrifice. Duursma was the same being shunted to HBF.

I like Greeves too.

He's ticking a lot of boxes with his size, physicality, performance and athletic ability. He has enough burst out of stoppage and speed to not be redundant with Smillie and Lalor.

I think he had bad day by foot but his skills are better than that. I've liked him ever since that 31 disposal U17 futures game when Sharp was all the hype. He had some wow athletic moments.

He's probably the "safest" mid pick right now to be a really good player. Would be a nice combo pick with a Grlj type.

His disposal was absolutely sheet house

Massive ball hack from last sundays game

Lots of players had a bad disposal day. He has a good kicking action. He mostly needs to work on his set shot routine which is fixable.

That's not enough for me to ignore the fact he looks like like a superior athlete than most and keeps performing. Bigger, faster, more agile and stronger than nearly any other mid that steps on the field next to him consistently.

I’ll be interested to see his testing results.

Yeah his kicking was great in futures game. But seems to be so hit or miss, it wasn’t great round 1 ctl and I think it was rd 19 last year vs knights the same. It’s probably the big separator for me from last years draft class to this years, outside Draper the top 7 were elite ball users and decision makers, this year haven’t seen close to the same level of ball users or decision making. Though I only really started paying attention after champs.

Yeah me too.

Greeves is definitely faster than Smillie. I would also say he gets on the outside more to show that burst more than Lalor who played very inside in his draft year (or forward). Doesn't mean he's faster he just likes to run on the outside more and Lalor didn't test.

Could be wrong but would not be surprised to see him test in the 2.9's range for 20m. I think he has genuine pace.
