Greeves is definitely faster than Smillie. I would also say he gets on the outside more to show that burst more than Lalor who played very inside in his draft year (or forward). Doesn't mean he's faster he just likes to run on the outside more and Lalor didn't test.

Could be wrong but would not be surprised to see him test in the 2.9's range for 20m. I think he has genuine pace.

2.9x and he becomes my top pick.

I personally don’t see the appeal to Oliver Greeves I did early on but after seeing how he butchers the ball I lost it for him. Duursma is more appealing to me.

In the vfl game? It was rubbish, the best players were academy which is unfortunate. 38 is Ludowyke, good to great mark and very athletic, but also can be very unpolished.

Desperately need a Finn Callaghan/Clayton Oliver (without the drug problem) to emerge over the rest of the season. But there’s usually one.

Agreed , that's exactly what we need , early days so not too worried , ludy doesn't offer anymore than H or Faull or sims , let's hope to hear of some bolters later on

Hes playing as a centre bounce mid this year now that FOS, Jagga & Gross are gone.

Watched 1st half of his round 3 game and he is a very very good player.

If anyone can be bothered go to the 2 min mark of the 2nd quarter v Sandy, his team are fluffing around the backline and he comes in and wins it dishes the handball off from the contest, bursts free and gets the mark off the guy he handballed too, plays on gives it off sprints clear up field to eventually get the ball back, side steps 2 blokes and hits a bloke clear in the corridor.

or maybe I just love an Oakleigh #5...

A solid performance from Lindsay who returned to his customary half back role and looked assured even with the step up against more mature opposition. He was strong in aerial contests and for the most part composed with the ball, although he did misjudge a couple of kicks in the windy conditions.

I like Greeves too.

He's ticking a lot of boxes with his size, physicality, performance and athletic ability. He has enough burst out of stoppage and speed to not be redundant with Smillie and Lalor.

I think he had bad day by foot but his skills are better than that. I've liked him ever since that 31 disposal U17 futures game when Sharp was all the hype. He had some wow athletic moments.

He's probably the "safest" mid pick right now to be a really good player. Would be a nice combo pick with a Grlj type.

Duursma is soft as. Give me the guy who is a competitive beast over the soft flashy guy who's weak in the contest.

To me with a top 5 pick it has be a guarantee hit. With Greeves you can see the floor (Jack Steele). With Duursma we could have another JON or Fiora on our hands.

Lindsay is a nice half back, haven't really liked him in the midfield role. Seems more a teens type pick to me.

NHH would like to see him play more midfield and see what he's got. Flicked on Round 1 and he was playing wing again and then injured round 2.

Reid ain’t coming to Richmond. I actually know it’s wishful thinking. But we don’t need him. We have Lalor and Smilie just a speedy midfielder like fos and it’s enough. Use our pick one for either a utility like Duursma or CDT and we are set. Use our cap space for someone like Sam Taylor
