We clearly need mids now. Faull and Armstrong looking good. If Sims is slated as a ruckman maybe take Ludowyke but gee we really need mids!Even though we've just drafted Faull, Armstrong and Sims, I don't think we should completely rule out Ludowyke.
If he's clearly best available at one of our picks, then we take him and deal with the logjam later if they all develop into AFL level forwards.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt in this game, as it's a bit wet, but previous info I've read on him has also mentioned it as something he needs to work on.Didn't see first one, second one should have been a handball but think he changed his mind who he was passing to.

Yeah we do and I hope it works out that way. But definitely shouldn't be ignored entirely if the draft pans out that way.We clearly need mids now. Faull and Armstrong looking good. If Sims is slated as a ruckman maybe take Ludowyke but gee we really need mids!
I reckon if you're early on in a rebuild and the choice is 50/50 between a tall and a mid, you take the tall as they need longer to develop, so that could be why we invested in so many of them last year.We must've rated Faull & Armstrong above these talls though, otherwise I don't think we would've gone so top heavy in 2024. I back in our recruiters to be assessing talent in 2-3 year blocks given how we trade in, out or back in certain drafts well ahead of time
How's Duursma looking?just watched the second quarter after previously watching SFA of the draftees.
First impresions:
Lindsay shows a good bit of dash.
Sharp catches the eye.
Not really bothering watching KPP as doubt we go there again.
Haven't overly noticed him. How's Duursma looking?
Last year didn't have KPP which I reckon would have made it difficult.corresponding game last year coburg beat the academy by 27 points
Just can't see us going for another one this draft unless it's a point of difference like CDT who is different to anything on our list.I reckon if you're early on in a rebuild and the choice is 50/50 between a tall and a mid, you take the tall as they need longer to develop, so that could be why we invested in so many of them last year.
I've just noticed that line breaking that I'm hopeful of Kaleb Smith using for us.Lindsay stands out for his line breaking ability, but is he the type of player you use a top 4 pick on?
Do we get ruthless and shop one of them around if we have a better prospect on the radar?Just can't see us going for another one this draft unless it's a point of difference like CDT who is different to anything on our list.
Already have as tall(ish) forwards: Lynch, Faull, Armstrong, Fawcett, Bauer, Lefau and Sims and that's too many. We have nowhere to play and develop another.
If we go again, I'd say it'll be in 2-3 years time.
