he's not worth band 1 with his body and career, wouldn't be surprised if he got it, but I would be equally unsurprised if in the off chance he got an end of first round compensation that the afl would just give them pick 2 as a priority pick

either that or they'd give him band 1 compo and an end of 1st rd prio pick

This was a pretty strong game from Fred although there are still signs that he's yet to hit top form. He was prolific around stoppage, winning first possession and releasing teammates into space or getting the ball forward himself. His kicking was a little off compared to his typical excellence with a couple of shanks in the mix, and so far this season he hasn't been able to find as much space on the spread to really damage with his elite skills.

2 picks in the top 5 should be the aim for us.

Picks 3 and 4 would be a great outcome.
Gives us 2 of CDT, Sharp, Rodriguez, Grlj, or 1 of these plus Harley Reid.

Plus Kellaway.

It's a very very good outcome.

We just need teams from 9th to 15th to keep winning and stay ahead of North. Melbourne and Sydney in particular but also Stkilda, Port, Freo and friends.

Hard to say as we haven’t had champs. But personally I’d take 1 through 7 last year before anyone this year.

Think X Lindsay and M Reid would probably be top 5 this year too. Talls are probably ahead this year but then again watching Faull, Armstrong and Sims adapt to AFL it’s hard to not think they’re better than Ludowyke etc…
