Players regularly put up impressive numbers against the NT Academy side, but in this case it's a continuation of what we've been seeing from Tom Burton all season who's averaging 33 disposals per game in the Talent League and also solid for the AFL Academy.

Burton lacks the size that clubs tend to prefer with their midfield recruits, but he has a dash of pace, and the agility to navigate traffic and get inside to out for damaging disposals. This game in the Darwin heat showed Tom's elite endurance and gut running at their best, able to get from contest to contest all over the ground and a few times showing repeated efforts to pop up multiple times in possession chains down the ground.

if we draft tim burton he can help make some sick gothic preseason media content

For those who want to see some Greeves action

3.7 and 1 marked on the goal line.

Should have kicked 8 at least.

Malady was impressive. 15 for Caulfield. 19. Toner not bad either, might be our ones younger brother. Both Stingrays.

Kellaway
Cumming
Sharp

All named in the SA U18 side to take on a SA U20 side tomorrow afternoon starting at 2.30pm. The match will be streamed on the Advertisers Kommunity TV

Having Kellaway, if we pick him with his club connection, will help us connect with any other SA players we may decide to choose.

the beauty about this draft is two or three year minimum contracts fits in perfectly for us because by that stage will should be starting to surge up the ladder

We missed the first quarter from the broadcast, but what we did see was a solid performance in this pre Champs trial match from Dyson Sharp in difficult rainy conditions. Sharp was industrious as always around the contest and won first possession regularly to get the U18s moving forward. As the rain increased and the game became scrappy Dyson applied strong defensive pressure, smothering and laying a number of tackles.

I think you know what you’re going to get with Sharp, my question on him is what can he provide other then contested footy…

Will be an interesting watch at the championships. I’m sure we will see him rack up 25-30 touches in most games but to invest a top 3-5 pick on him you are probably going to need to see a few other tricks as he’s not physically massive, not a raw freak athlete, looks like he’s got a good footy brain generally and a decent skills, also a solid defensive side to his midfield game.

Any chance of a Kellway clip from this game if he has enough impact to warrant making one?
