Someone else will know but it must help us as well as apart from Berry, I don't think we've used a first rounder for a while, including for this year.

I can’t see the point of Geelong going for Charlie.
They have a guy up front who kicked nearly 100 last year and neale is pretty handy also.
I can’t see the advantage of it especially as Charlie looks way past his prime.

What is the likelihood Latrelle somehow slips to Port's first pick for the night? I would think all the picks that were stockpiled by other clubs to bid on all the F/S, NGA and Academy players would result in as it stands pick 49 to slide back a bit right?

Cripps on trade radio just said between now and Wednesday our two goals are to get Will Brodie (said he expects this to happen early next week) and trade out pick 49 to get out of this draft. Went on to say that several clubs have shown interest and so doesnt think we'll keep it going into the draft.

In all seriousness, I thought we needed to keep 3 picks, and then use them to either upgrade rookies or take players.
Don't think we have to select anyone new from the draft pool, but at least upgrade through the main draft.

That frees up my draft night then. Plus we can get cracking from day one of preseason with a full squad.
