Crows are trading 48 for Suns' F3 and we might be trading 49 for another Suns' F3.

Whoever ends up with the F3 that is tied to Bombers will probably end up with 10 spots higher in the draft next year with their F3. We should push for the Bombers' F3 as hard as possible.
Shifter on 5AA said the Suns dont have much coming through with their academies over the next few years (hence why they might want to load up with their academy picks this year.

also noticed that the Suns dont have a 1st round pick for 2026. There 3rd round picks is around our 3rd pick - Lore's provisional 2026 national draft picks show the suns 3rd round picks are 40 & 49.

the suns 3rd round pick for 2027 is tied with Melbourne

10 bids in the top 30.
4 in the top 6.
Lmao.

Houston was good for us because we played him in his proper role.
He’ll die on the arse at Collingwood unless they use him as we did.
Would love to have him next year so we could move Rozee forward.
I actually feel sorry for Dan. He left a great club, where he was played in his best position, becoming an all Australian.

He then follows the missus, breaks up with her, stuck in cold, miserable Melbourne with a broken heart, playing bad football, with no friends, and having to listen to pro Eddie Maguire chats on repeat.

Which is why I'd try do a deal to get the 2nd rounder tied to Melbourne in 2026. Give 49 + our F3 for Melbourne's F2. I think they would give it up.

Would do a 3 way trade like this:

West Coast give 41, get Bombers' F3
Port give 49 and F3, get Demons' F2
Suns give Demons' F2, Bombers' F3; get 41, 49 and Port's F3

Think all parties win out of that win. I am going with Cal's mail that West Coast will likely use 4 selections so pick 41 won't be used.

Another pick for the BIG DOUG. It would be a great outcome.

What a joke the talent distribution has become. 4 of the top 6 are pre allocated to clubs as well as 10 of the top 30.

Really puts it in perspective how ridiculous it is when idiots cry about us and Dougie. Other clubs do this shit every single year.

Just one pick with some value, No. 49, as things stand, but even that’s going to get pushed into next year in a looming swap with Gold Coast. It’s part of a wider plan for the Power dating back 12 months ago when the Power targeted the 2024 draft and had three picks — Joe Berry (15), Jack Whitlock (33) and Christian Moraes (38) — inside the first two rounds. The club is also keen to prioritise the 2026 and 2027 drafts, with academy and father-son ties to Dougie Cochrane (2026), Louis Salopek, Tevita Rodan and Zemes Pilot (all 2027). So think of it as a wider four-year recruiting scheme as [PLAYERCARD]Josh Carr[/PLAYERCARD] takes the reins as senior coach. Based on finishing positions in the season just gone, Port currently has the third-most total draft points value of any club in the 2026 draft. And they’ll need it to ensure they get Cochrane, having recently gotten the green light from the AFL to have NGA access to the young star after he and his family explored their Indigenous heritage, with the tightening of draft rules around matching bids.

That's called karma for demanding a trade to one club. I have no empathy for him at all. Sucked in Dan.

Our second pick could still come back into the 40s and we've been linked with enough late pick types for us to use it. Locals like BOB and Peucker would head that list I'd guess.

But apart from the pick swap tonight, Thursday and Friday are our dominion. ;)
