Our traded 2025 first round pick was 6 + 1 compo (Allen) = 7, which GC used to get Petracca. Would we have tried to use it to get Douggie's Centrals teammate Dyson Sharp, who seems to be ranked between 7 and 10?If we had our first round pick this year would we have kept it or traded it for a 2026 future first?
Trade into next year easily. Acquire the capital for Cochrane bid.If we had our first round pick this year would we have kept it or traded it for a 2026 future first?

Doesn't really make sense for Port to draft a tall defender considering they are well positioned in the tall stocks department. Not sure why Fox has suggested Port to take in a tall defender.Fox Footy had a go with a player who I guess they figure could be around at 49 or a much come-in-from-the-cold 85. Seem to have totally locked in on tall key defenders.
Elliot Duffield KPD from South Adelaide their first choice.

Would consider the following players with pick 49
- Blake Oudshoorn-Bennier
- Riley Onley
- Leon Kickett
- Zane Peucker
- Avery Thomas

it might be worth getting Avery ThomasSeems like he would be a good pickup if he slid to us. His RMC profile makes it seem like he might not be too attached to Tassie, so I don't think there would be much go-home factor.

High footy IQ, Good in contest and has a good tank and work-rateFor those in the know, what are your thoughts on Tom McGuane, son of Mick? There's an article about him in the Advertiser and he seems to have a great attitude at least
Zane Peucker is among the bolters of this year’s budding AFL Draft crop. The Woodville-West Torrens prospect fits that moniker in more ways than one, not only rising the ranks as a top-ager, but also possessing plenty of power and speed. He was one of seven original inclusions to the South Australian Under 18 squad this year, which went on to take out the title undefeated.
A new name from a phantom draft, Max Kondogiannis, a 190cm lockdown/intercept defender with speed and endurance (uh oh). Think a James Borlase type with pace.
But also a few other names in different positions as possibilities.
Pick #45: Port Adelaide – Max Kondogiannis
Kondogiannis finished the year strongly and offers versatility as a lockdown or rebounding defender. Late in the draft, he makes sense as the best available player who fills a list need.
Other Options: Jett Dahlitz, Beau Addinsall, Avery Thomas, or Vic Country small Talor Byrne.

He has lots of close family in Adelaide which would also be appealing.
SNAPSHOT: “An aerially apt interceptor who takes the game on with speed and precise kicking on the rebound.” – Michael Alvaro
In a draft class relatively thin on tall defensive talent, Max Kondogiannis has staked his claim throughout 2025. The 190cm Oakleigh Chargers interceptor ticks plenty of boxes in his position and established himself at high levels as a top-ager. Despite an interrupted start to the campaign, Kondogiannis got going early in the Coates Talent League season and never looked back.
Hmmm interesting

May as well pick up Marcus Krasnadamskis while we’re at it.Kondogiannis to Anastasopoulos
Good to see the southern Greeks in Kondogiannis and Anastosopoulos making waves and representing … unlike that Northerner, Jimmy ToumpasKondogiannis to Anastasopoulos
