From a TV point i get it but for attending i don't.

Thursday nights aren't fun from the perspective as a fan wanting to attend as many matches as possible and we know we've got at least 2 of them next season

You can have more games at the MCG, but you're not going to play Richmond, Collingwood and Carlton every week. You're more likely to get the 36k-38k crowds you had against the Crows and Swans.

As someone trained in computer systems engineering I should welcome starting counts at 0 but not here.....

I hope the statisticians are practical enough and bold enough to treat Round 0 as Round 1, despite what the AFL wants.
