Walker comfortably BOG atm, even if he didn't play the last he'd still be BOG.

Nobody else really standing out, just lots of good, solid and even contributions.

Walker is a bit Deledio like. He’s going to be a gun.

Impressed with McCartney, Malady. Koda Edwards is creative. Neocleous is kinda a Watson/Baker clone.

Koby LeCras has been decent upfront and I LOVE Kenh off half back. That agility and cleanness on traffic is a great combination

You'd be better positioned to judge the hype levels than me. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places. For obvious reasons, I haven't been plugged into AFL content as much as usual this season haha.

Elite prospects tied to smaller teams can fly under the radar a bit (like Zeke Uwland this year for example) but for the big clubs that doesnt tend to happen. The legion of Blues fans out there on social media aren't letting anyone forget about Cody Walker - and they have every right to be hyped.

That's fair. I'm not really counting Carlton supporters in this as we tend to go over the top, to put it mildly.

I'm looking more at the mainstream draft coverage and he doesn't seem to get the recognition his performances warrant.

Reid had the hype because he won the champs grand final off his own boot as an underrager and then proceeded to absolutely dominate his whole 18s year. He could also play anywhere on the field and wasn't club tied.

Cody has plenty of hype for what he's produced, probably too much if anything. And that's from someone who's just about his biggest fan.

Unless he dramatically improves in his draft year, I struggle to see him as a top 20 pick.

Right now, we have two academy prospects who are easily ahead of Hodge.
