Depends what you're looking for I guess. The general stats contributing to the intensity of the game will be well below AFL average with this set up.Anyhow, myself and many others will love it and Perth Stadium will be full

It will be high scoring, bruise free football that the AFL and 7 will hype up as amazing and the standard because it allows them to sell more advertising spaceDepends what you're looking for I guess. That was great. Back then there were identities feeding into it too. Teddy and Kerls. Others too. Good times. Good footy. It's a start . I remember the big V playing SA in front of a packed MCG and it was elite with the likes of Plugger , Dermie etc , even somehow our own David Murphy , just shows how good he was

Can remember pre State of Origin when Victoria would play WA and SA with elite WA and SA players playing for the Vics. Usually a slaughter. No wonder those states hated us.
Him and Tilt are great blokesAbsolutely. In our team of the century too.
I enjoyed seeing him and Rod Carter speak at an event early last year. Still a big Swans man.
Gary Ablett snr turning it on as wellThat was great. Back then there were identities feeding into it too. Teddy and Kerls. Others too. Good times. Good footy.
He was a highlight reel. I reckon he would be just as good today but with less goals.Gary Ablett snr turning it on as well
I have strong memories of that game - Lockett and Dunstall trading leads - Ablett creating mayhem.Gary Ablett snr turning it on as well

Can’t recall if Brereton played, but if he did he wasn’t noticed.
The Vics smashed the SA fwd line - Kernahan got a couple of late kicks and muffed them.
The only SA player that stood out was Andrew Jarman - he dished out some sensational handballs.
Do you remember who the Vic ruckmen were?Great memories
The ground was an absolute mud heap , the sooks wouldn't play on it now
IT'S not a TOUCH , IT'S A DISPOSAL !Those new rules are fantastic. Finally last touch is in.

No mention of what happens if the oppo player corrals the ball over the line after an opposition kick tho. If they don't define a ruling for that situation it won't take long for it to come up as it would look stupid. A player under pressure would be better off letting the ball cross the line so they can obtain a freekick and dispose under no pressure just like how defenders and goalkeepers in soccer protect the ball over the touch line to gain a throw in or goal kick - that would be a blight on the game. Those new rules are fantastic. Also the stricter interpretation of the stand rule is going to create a freekick fest.
Brodie Grundy will be heavily hampered by the new ruck rule (not that i have much of an opinion on it because the current rucking situation doesn't really stand out as an issue, who really cares how rucks approach the jump, just let them decide what suits them).
It specifically states that if a player doesn’t make a play on the ball, it will be a throw in. So corralling out of bounds = throw in (if they can reasonably gain possession I guess). No mention of what happens if the oppo player corrals the ball over the line after an opposition kick tho. So much for getting rid of the interpretation problem. Isn't that the soul reason this rule was introduced. It specifically states that if a player doesn’t make a play on the ball, it will be a throw in. So corralling out of bounds = throw in (if they can reasonably gain possession I guess).
I think Bedders meant the rule is last disposal not touch.
