Maybe it's my age but attending those matches are a tough gig, waking up the next morning and realising you have to work all day....

Interstate teams should max play 2 games at marvel. It's bullshit we play more at marvel than mcg, leave marvel for the vic teams. I'd rather have all our vic games at the MCG.

I’m a little surprised we’re not doubling up against them, but I dare say all the contrived blockbuster games between the Melbourne “big 4” ( plus the Demons) got in the way.

We have an imperfect fixture that is unavoidable while there is a mismatch between the teams in the competition and the number of rounds. But with this anomaly unavoidable, I do yearn for the days (seasons) where you first played every team once and then doubled up against the first five (now six) teams you’d played.
