Below is the current draft order, I'm not going to allow more than 60 picks to be made as Cal Twomey has stated 44-57 players will be selected, if we can make a table or something like a banner to show whos been selected, will be very helpful for everyone involved as it makes it not confusing. Please don't spam the thread with messages either, makes it difficult to follow and doing write up on a prospect is totally optional if you really want to justify your reasoning and rational behind the selection.

GWS and the Bulldogs swapped picks.

I’m at 12 and I’m going to take a flyer and bid on Harry Kyle King Patty
Sydney doesn't match.
May come back to bite like not matching on Andrew Dunkleys son.
But felt bid was too early.
Just arrogance from the GWS list manager trying to inflame the cross town rivalry and expecting us to match.

With that GWS are the proud recipients of Harry Kyle.

pretty suprised Sydney didn’t match with no picks in the top 30. They seemed set up for a two bid match draft stratergy.

Kyle is a midsize HB/Mid with good hands and high level athleticism. These players are always handy and I’m sure he will have a bit of a chip on his shoulder if the draft played out like this

You guys completely blew up my board in the last few picks.

Talking to Freo fans, the big need was winger or small pressure forward, but I also don't want to reach for the sake of reaching.

I have two guys who stand out above everyone else at this point of the draft, Oskar Taylor and Mitch Marsh. The Dockers are stacked with key forwards and could use some dash off half back, so with pick 20, the Fremantle Dockers select Oskar Taylor.

Been having conniptions with this pick. Last few picks have eaten through it, considering Bryne, Emmett, Dalton, Rodriguez as alternatives… after taking Robey and cumming, the half backs remaining just aren’t doing it for me, KPD not in the same class as this bloke; so I’ll go, Oliver Greeves. Too good to leave on the board any longer. Midfield a bit overloaded but with Hobbs gone, Setterfield potentially too, Tsatas next year and potentially Merrett it’s likely a need based pick this time next year. Ideally we’ll trade up draft night and get one of Farrow, Lindsay or Taylor.

Or if we are in this spot try and trade our remaining seconds back for points plus something next year.

Next two picks will be Sweid and HUS regardless of whether bids come.

do you want to trade with Sydney
if your just going to match bids.

Sydney offer our first pick and third pick for dons next pick, (it's more points)

let us know when you get to your next pick #25

Unnecessary given we only have the two list spots remaining if we retain Setterfield. Would be interesting on draft night if we rate some extras on the board and decide to delist him.

North Melbourne bid on Lachlan Carmichael 183cm mid/ defender
Allies MVP very good year.
Good kick and decision maker
Above average overhead for size
High footy iq
I can see him slotting into the swans side and playing Nick Smith small defender role
I reckon he will seamlessly adapt to AFL footy

North Melbourne also bid on Max King 192cm forward allies swans academy
Athletically gifted.
Tested out of his skin.
Only showed glimpses this year but his highlight package is probably better than most in this draft.
Will need to work on leading patterns and footy iq in general but if he develops could be one of the best in the draft.
Would fit in nicely with the kangaroos young stock.

King Patty what do you say?

Bid is matched. Was hoping bids would last past my early picks.

will match both bids.

Sydney are happy to get King and Carmichael.
They both should have the luxury of developing their game at a steady rate before entering the the AFL side.

back to you ydc55

North Melbourne bid Adam Sweid.
Adam had a tremendous year.
Wins a lot of footy and uses the ball well.
Endurance is good and ball use solid.
I would like to see a bit more speed and dynamic movement but the bloke has returned from an acl this year.
Shows ability to play forward which is where he will start.
Great hard working kid as well.
Red Black and Blue what do you say?

Interesting for Essendon here.

Does he take Huss? Trade out? Take somebody else and hope Huss gets no bid?
It's still North Melbourne's pick, they could pick Huss here on their bid frenzy

Club tied players not yet bidded on.
Huss (efc NGA)
kalani White (dees f/s)
Louis Kellaway (tigers f/s)
Coby Coulson (Suns NGA)
Zac McCarthy (Pies NGA)
Tyan Prindable (lions NGA)
Isaac Waller (lions NGA)
Jai Murray (suns NGA)
