Good signs with some of our older players like Sinclair, Wood and Macrae leading the way and our youngsters getting on board.

The pressure is going to be hot for spots in our team with the likes of Steele, Henry. Butler, King, Pou and Howard all returning.

It's perform or perish, no free rides anymore.

Lance Collard, what a talent. Butler available next week but I think he’s just locked his place into the 22
Really exciting signs from him today, always knew he had talent but now showing the application and desire with great defensive efforts.

Caminiti I owe a huge apology to. Seriously thought he was nothing more than a stopgap in defence but he’s being crafted into a proper Josh battle replacement. Same height, lots of spoils, lots of marks both intercept and just linking up the play. Not afraid to crash the packs.
Definitely has a future in defense. I think his career would have plateaued if he stuck it out as a forward.

Should get better the more he plays and trains with the defense.

That would definitely be a mosquito fleet in the forward like with Butler, Higgins, Collard and Max Hall.

Butler might have to come back via the VFL.
I think Butler or Collard. No need for both.

You can also see how a fit King comes in for Keeler

I’m glad people are acknowledging Hall. He is a one touch player that’s makes good decisions with the football, is quick, and skilful.
Found a gem there!
Hall & Travaglia.

Nice start from the Dimple.

Still have the Tauru present to unwrap.

You can’t drop either Hall or Collard based on the past two weeks’ performances. Collard has the most upside.

Butler may just be depth.
No he just needs to earn his spot back.

Collard is 20 and a slight frame.
Halls first proper season.

Form will fluctuate

Collard has surprised me with how much he has improved from last year, Hall has been good too, hard to drop either of them.

Travaglia was good today too, I wouldn't be dropping him either, it will be tough for our selectors with good players returning..

A good problem to have though rather than previous years where we had a long injury list and poor players got gifted games.

He will probably get taken to the cleaners a few times but must persevere with him - huge upside.

Cordy never to be seen again unless Hammer is injured.
