I will say, I’d expressed hope for Steele to step up tonight, and I was disappointed with him I won’t lie. That’s my mild melt, I want a lot more from him, he just feels too passive for my liking, as captain - 16 disp, 4 tackles, won’t cut it.

Onto the next, I don’t understand the supporters that are gonna lose their shit and claim season is over in round 6, I assume you won’t watch any more games in 2025 then…?

Stick fat, melt away, get it out, by all means, but **** the loser mentality, we’re far from panic stations as a club IMO, and I’ll be there for Brisbane next week, FWIW

I've never been so appalled by our senior players. We'd lose to West Coast here. Wilkie turned up but beaten (first time I've seen it mind you), but every single other senior Saint has been disgraceful. Out there smiling after the match.

Turf the midfield and start the kids in there next week. Get Boxhall, Hall, Garcia in there. Work out who could be premiership players and who are just collecting paycheques and wasting our f#$%ing time.

I'd give Marshall one more crack but after that you have to bring in Boyd to at least compete. Honestly think he'd have been better than Marshall tonight, he doesn't mark it but Marshall took 0. Worst form Marshall has been in in about 5 years. Two weeks in a row he has been annihilated by his opponent and it's killing us; the rest of the mids need to stand up a bit but it's tough when your ruck is this bad.

Trav and Boxshall both killed it at Sandy this week. You'd have to be tempted to get them in and see what they offer in the middle. Garcia is going along well, love that he tackles so much and for a second year mid you can't ask for more. Steele shocking tonight and offers nothing at the moment. Henry selection a complete joke. Windy just so inconsistent as a mid. You think he's emerging and then next thing it's a nothing performance.

6 day break into Brisbane and a lot of soul searching to do. Ouch.
