Loving the engagement on the posts this season- great work team!!

Some enormous margins this week, gulfs opening up between the top 9-10, and bottom 8-9. Sound familiar??

Didn’t translate into heaps of huge individual scores , but some big efforts from some 2nd tier rucks now staking claim to R1.

Garner down with an ankle injury ( loses 184k!) but plenty of Roos made up for it.

Who do you guys think goes? Thinking Rentsch and Ott and maybe Kos? then field Boyd and O'Shea, not sure what that gets me though, if not Kos then maybe one of Prespakis/Bowers. Thoughts?

Game open for trades already. Nice.

1271 for me this week. Have to trade out the injured and the spuds.

I have just enough money for Harris to Strom, Howley to Grieves, Heath to Boyd.

Wow, weird week hey? I ended up shooting up to 1333, despite leaving points on the bench, Heath having a cardiac event and whatever the hell happened to Turbo.

3/3 positive trades, and for the first time ever I'm into triple digits, ranked 837. Couldn't be more stoaked, thanks to all for the help this season so far.

Gunna be a tricky week. Obviously wait and see on Heath, but may have to ditch her. Dodged a bullet not owning Garner. I want Grieves, obviously, but the only path is a Howley or Centra sideways.

Contemplating a premo upgrade, maybe GPrespakis up to Conti/Nanscawen (who has been a fave since her VFLW days).

Need a Rentsch downgrade bench option too.

Whatever keeps cash gen going, I guess. I suggest Rentsch to Grieves via the utility position.

Yeah ive got Grieves in already, not sure on other rooks currently, could keep Ott for another as she should gain abit more cash you'd think.

Oof how is Boyd 621k already! Thought I could trade Rentsch to her but she's more expensive.

I'm thinking about holding Harris another week and getting Strom next week, all so I can get Riddell in and captain her. She just seems the best captain option this week.

Your team looks like it's humming along nicely. Just keep the cash flowing and think about what you want the team to look like when you're done. Ott's BE should be achievable, but who knows what Dal's going to do in the face of that loss? You could justifiably hold or trade.

what a good team.
Bowers had a tough matchup against the hardest team in the league. She was on Riddell early on. I stopped watching once Garner got injured so not sure what actually happened. Georgie was tagged by Kennedy in that Sydney game. I'd assume they'd both bounce back, but I guess you can always trade down or up with players that could pop against a good matchup.

tbh, I totally forgot about bringing in Strom around this time. Every week, there's a new injury to deal with or a premo failing and looking like a problem going forward.

Cheers! Yeah its basically get Kos up to a 950k forward but think id rather field Stone till i get Molloy or when Toogoods back.

if not that then i think its Bowers or Prespakis to Gardiner or someone.

Over here, folks! :)

Early thoughts on trades:

Garner to Grieves
Ebert to McLaughlin
Forbes to Georgostathis

$201K in the bank.

Fish lands at M5. Rentsch socketed at D6; Bacon sizzling at U. I'll have to field one of Clarke or Hampson. Leaning Hampson since she got more TOG and more mid time than expected. Both teams had unexpected losses, which could change the mix. Clarke got benched at the end, so could even get dropped. If she does, I'll probably just use her as a loop, but I could go AOL as I've been planning since that R1 46.

Clarke, Hampson and Rentsch on notice and I could easily change my mind and trade any or all of them.

which means you can sideways her to Rowbottom, but with the way Rowbottom is playing, you'd rather just keep Fish.
Rowbottom is more than just personal form now. Banged up shoulder and a poor side.
Pretty sure she only had 23 at half time, so to finish on 84 surprised me and on that second half alone, could be worth a hold. Ride it out or trade at a huge loss.

If she can finish the season close to an M5 average, the hold would be crucial to finishing your side elsewhere. Offloading gives away $300k for little return, and a used trade.
Finishing with a 100avg would be a win here but she'd need to average 107 from here on to finish with a 100pt AVG. Only take 1 pop score to ease that pressure though.

Has GWS next round and they have their own midfield woes.

Speaking of, Srhoj bombed on the weekend (29pts)
Almost wanted to start her, but we only get 5-7 mids, not 10+.

I didn't see the North game, so I don't know their CBA split yet, but Sheerin tonned up and she's sitting on $806K. Assuming Garner is out for at least some period (and, hence, Sheerin gets more CBAs), you could potentially make some cash on a trade to her and recover some cash as those first two scores rotated out.

Interestingly, CBA doesn't seem a metric they record. (Far right)
But Sheerin had 1 centre clearance, and 3 overall.

I saw she was cheap and thought could be worth a punt, but like you said, not many spots open in general.

Will wait for DFS data. I remember the commentator said she was playing forward instead of defence, but I switched off after the injury. This was a 100-point thrashing where everyone played well and got loads of points. Could possibly be an outlier. She also had extremely low TOG the last 2 games. Was she coming back from injury? If she wasn't listed as a mid, I'd consider her. North just have so many mids.

Ours was a whacky game for scoring. I'll wait for the CBA data, I get way too invested to pay too much attention to stats, but Srhoj didn't have a bad game to the eye, would have expected at least a 50-60.

Outside of Zarlie, I don't think there's much viable in our side, except McCormick (who I almost bloody started as a gamble) is starting to string them together in a big way. Could be risky, but she's got such a beautiful kick I almost wanna get her for that reason alone.

Yet another forced trade with Heath unfortunately (elevated heart rate sounds scary, hope she doesn't miss too much time), copped one every week so far

Heath to Kearney
Mimi to McKay (Blues to Blues mid but Abbie is scoring better atm and Hill hasn't been great since trading her in, plus good matchups in the next two with Dogs and Suns)
Rentsch to Rigoni

Been working on a sheet of my own for the last 12 hours or so that has a separate column for expected price change (based on last 3 average) if it helps, lol - these are the top 50 I have

Reports are that Heath's heart issue is believed to be the back end of a virus, and dehydration. Back at training today.

I feel like with 3 trades though, she's a tradeout regardless of being named, right? BE is more than achievable, but the risk of managed minutes or something, she's gotta go.

Heath playing full-time mid is probably safe D2 (behind if even equal to Lucas-Rodd) when she does play full minutes, you can trade her out if there's nothing more pressing but I certainly can't haha (with McGrath, Rentsch, Ponter, Watson, even Bowers on the chopping block)

If she's named I'll hold, if she's out I'll trade

I rather not be forced to trade her ideally

I missed the first half of the game due to work, but from the second half, McCormick seemed to be everywhere. Was pushing forward and providing a lot of run from defence. She looked really good.

She played the game of her life, polled votes from both coaches too. Bloody everywhere and applied tonnes of pressure.

Our fixture opens up a little here though with Suns/Dogs back to back. Also, strapping.

0% chance I’m trading a named defender who plays midfield and can score 39 in a quarter.

Updated breakevens:

I changed calculation method slightly, let me know if any of them stand out as possibly wrong.

Rentsch's BE of 39 sounds very low. I've got her at 50.

These numbers are a little lower than mine but look close.

Taking Garner's injury as a sign to restructure.

Garner to Grieves to fund:

Rentsch to McCormick
Tahau to Molloy

Covering Heath with O'Shea this week, hopefully she's back next week!
Grieves surely stays in forever now, but only really got the nod with Grace Egan missing the Dreamtime match. Wonder how much that will impact Sierra's game time/role.
