We had a bit of rain in Geelong last night and it came down again, pretty heavily about 1:30 this afternoon

The outer side and centre square has at least had some sun on it, but I think the Brownlow Stand side is going to be wet under foot all match

As an example, here's the boundary at the players race

That seemed a really harsh call - took possession and maybe one step

If they're going to be that quick on the call, it defeats the purpose of being first to the and trying to attack the game

basically they think its to clear congestions and promote more scoring but in reality it rewards the tackler more than the ball winner so people will now hold off rather than going for the ball

Hate the intent shift it creates

Samegoes for the Lasoo rule thing - Means people stop going for the ball and let it roll out to get a free possession - hate the lack of intent it creates

One thing we struggled with in our last few outings against Norf is forward efficiency. Can't complain about that early today - 3 inside 50s for 2 goals.
