The AFL would have hated Cameron's interview where he completely took the piss

Was hilarious but completely embarrassed the AFL and the selectors.

Guaranteed that this is the last selection of this type and the captaincy from now on will go to a standout leader.
That was brilliant from Cameron, and probably resulted in many more fans from opposition clubs.

Becoming? There have been some utter shockers as AA captain in recent times, seeing Tom Hawkins (2022), Lance Franklin (2019) have also got the nod.
Yes. My "becoming" took into consideration of those two appointments. Good players might be able to give some direction because of their length of time in the game but that doesn't make them Captain material.

It's hilarious that a guy who has never been captain of any side in his life was named AA captain.

Especially witj so many club captains in the side.

Worrall missing out a joke.

Our backline is probably better than the AA one..

Apparently not.

And anyone who thought Battle was a bad choice, watch last night's semi final. He is an immovable object.

Noone kicked goals on him all year. And next week he will be on Jeremy Cameron.

Did you see our forward entries and midfield getting smashed????

Josh Ward being the clear 2nd best mid, Nash the 4th best and Worpel the 5th best didnt hurt us.

But Battle dominated the backline and was aggressively forward when needed. He was brilliant.

Meanwhile the Crows defence chipped the ball around all night and were huge for fantasy points but a step sbove useless for impact.

I’m not sure I’d use last night’s game as the basis for why Battle should be picked over Worrell. Don’t get me wrong, Battle was great, but Worrell matched that performance in a team where he was the only one that showed up.

He got a huge number of cheap possessions. He didnt play well.

Unless fantasy football is your thing.
