Week 2
TCols Stars (2-0) 296.2 def. Hedeby Berserkers (1-1) 202.3
Offense
3. Malik Nabers (TCS) 40.7
2. Ja'Marr Chase (TCS) 38.5
1. Daniel Jones (TCS) 28.1
Defense
3. Roquan Smith (HED) 25.5
2. Brian Branch (TCS) 17.0
1. Demario Davis (TCS) 16.0
Fn massive score for the Stars, so it's a small consolation to the Berserkers given there's not much they could do to win this one. Riding the Jones/Tagavailoa/Williams wave is a dangerous game though, and as we saw last season (Record score of 350+), didn't even make it to the Final.
Fueys Haze (1-1) 192.5 def. BETA Warriors (0-2) 170.3
Offense
3. James Cook (FHZ) 27.5
2. Patrick Mahomes (FHZ) 25.6
1. Trevor Lawrence (BW) 24.6
Defense
3. Edgerrin Cooper (BW) 16.0
2. Jamien Sherwood (FHZ) 15.5
1. Derwin James (BW) 12.5
Haze get off the mark with a run of the mill victory, consistent scores throughout. Warriors may rue the fact of not playing starting QBs, Spencer Rattler and Joe Flacco NOT sitting on the pine would've snatched a win this week.
Arakaans Assassins (2-0) 221.8 def. Galactic Gobsmackers (0-2) 177.5
Offense
3. Amon-Ra St.Brown (GOB) 40.2
2. Lamar Jackson (ARA) 36.2
0.5. Wan'Dale Robinson (ARA) 29.2
0.5. Mac Jones (ARA) 29.2
Defense
3. Henry To'oto'o (ARA) 12.0
2. Trey Hendrickson (ARA) 11.5
1. Cam Little (ARA) 10.0
Assassins looking good, a whole bunch of double-digit scorers, with 5 more on the bench. Been on the cusp for a year or two now, can this be the year of the next step? Big game next week for the early ascendancy in the division. Tough week for Gobsmackers, Jones injured, Hurts down, and only a couple of stars firing. Plenty of room for improvement.
Pandas Broncos (2-0) 268.3 def. Beads Army (0-2) 228.2
Offense
3. Jared Goff (BEA) 48.1
2. Drake Maye (PAN) 32.2
1. Puca Nacua (PAN) 28.6
Defense
3. Daiyan Henley (PAN) 23.5
2. Brandon Aubrey (PAN) 22.0
1. Byron Young (BEA) 15.5
Beads really unlucky, scoring 225+ usually guarantees a win. Carried a 0 with Jayden Reed going down early too... BUT the Broncos show why they won it all in 2024. Big scores everywhere, except for a doughnut on defense. Beautifully built team, and should contend for many years to come.
Manureids ADP Redeemers (1-1) 209.9 def. Pistols Dolphins (1-1) 172.1
Offense
3. Dak Prescott (MAD) 28.9
2. Caleb Williams (PID) 21.8
1. Bijan Robinson (PID) 20.8
Defense
3. Fred Warner (MAD) 19.0
2. Danielle Hunter (MAD) 18.0
1. Payton Wilson (MAD) 15.0
Redeemers get their first win, over-coming a a McCarthy sub-zero score with 6/8 defenders hitting double digits. Who says defense doesn't make a difference, Dolphins (61.5) scored 35 less points than the Redeemers (96.5). If Manu can keep his team consistent week to week (unlike ADP), could take some big scalps this year.
Chisms Chasers (2-0) 249.1 def. Purple Vandals (0-2) 147.5
Offense
3. Russell Wilson (CHC) 39.3
2. Jonathon Taylor (VAN) 30.5
1. Jordan Love (CHC) 26.7
Defense
3. Keisean Nixon (CHC) 17.3
2. Patrick Queen (VAN) 15.0
1. Nick Bosa (CHC) 13.5
Wilson turned back the clock and nearly dropped a 40-burger on us, noone more surprised than me. Scary thing is, if it wasn't Russ, Bryce Young was his other option, scoring a lowly 29.7 on the bench. Great depth in this squad, and the fight with Panda will be great all season long. Vandals had a 'mare, no question.
