Rowell is about 11 votes ahead of what they expected so on track for 40ish. Daicos is also ahead of that predictor

I do think the B&F is a statistical anomaly times 23 rounds. Think back to the VFL with a single umpire doing the votes in mud and the dark with reserves and no interchange, and a 3, 2, 1 is justifiable.

With four umpires, better playing conditions and 75 interchanges a game how can you say one player is a worth three times more than the third best player on the ground?

I would prefer not to have a Brownlow medalist (after the Bont wins) as a premiership club needs a well rounded team not a single individual.

Yeah the Brownlow voting is effed. Rowell currently 13 ahead of predicted. But it's the fact he has gotten 3 x 3 vote games, in games he was predicted to get zero. Makes you wonder what umpires actually see that we don't?

That being said. Rather Rowell, over Daicos and Smith every day of the week.

I Would not care in the slightest if Rowell won it.

I'd be like throwing a Brownlow into the void for me. While Daicos winning for a down year or Sniff snagging it because of the 'Storyline', would be actively annoying.
