I don’t know about taking the votes off the umps, but for the love of god - let them see the stats after the game before they submit them.

It’s very much a midfielders medal, but at least that way they can see the stats like pressure acts, 1%ers & the other stats that’s aren’t commonly noticed or mentioned.

Love Rowell. The sort of bloke that's a bit quirky but a proper footballer. Not showy, not a look at me type, decent bloke and he works his arse off and gets the job done. Not sure he's a 39 voter, but it's the umpires after all and they're hopeless.

Love you Bont as well, cracking season. Play those missing games and fair chance he's up on stage...anyway....

I don't know why people get so wound up against the Brownlow votes. The fact that it's more unpredictable than the other awards is what makes it special. Maybe it shouldn't revered as the most prestigious but it would be awful if it's changed or the umpires can start looking at the stats. Keep it pure.
